McCorkell's Carpets

McCorkell's fitted a carpet in our flat at short notice. We found them friendly, professional and the carpet was extremely good value. They also advised us how to get rid of large pieces of unwanted furniture.

We've now had McCorkell's fit carpets to two bedrooms, our living room and our stairs/hallway/landing, and all are fantastic.The first couple of times we did shop around to some of the bigger carpet suppliers, but McCorkell's were always cheaper off the bat, so since then we haven't bothered to look around and always go straight to them.Their in-shop advice is spot on - not at all pushy to go with the most expensive options, but at the same time giving advice that means you'll get something that works for the space (ie does it need to be particularly hard-wearing?). On top of all this, we feel good to be supporting a local business.We've only got one room left to re-carpet now and we know they'll be getting the job.

I've known this company for over 10 years ...always good service and fair prices on the carpets and beds I've bought from them. Never any problems so will continue to support this highly regarded local company.

We used these people to lay carpet and laminate and kitchen floor covering, they messed us about, and we had to rearrange our van hire for moving in, then there were more delays they could not put the floor Dow because of a loose floor board and put it off another day, they arrived late to fit it at 8am we went off to load the removal van and on our return they were not even half finished in the sitting room so we has to unload the van in the garden at my sisters as she had a porch just in case it rained then there were delays in the carpet arriving which set us back even more, we had then extend the hire of the van due to them. They took doors off and never put them back on. And JASON did not even care one bit we asked for some discount and his reply was “it wasn’t our fault that the carpet didn’t arrive” no customer service what so ever, no apology nothing. My sister was going to use them as she is also moving house but after this experience she will be going to Dave’s Carpets. We will never use these people ever again, they lie and fob you off. Very bad, no compassion, need to go on a customer service course. My children went to school with these people, Do not use.

No show - complete let down. Had an email to say they were on their way to me at 9.20am and at 10.50 when no one had shown up I was given no real reason why. Don't waste your time

Always fantastic price and good fitting amazing underlay

Nice guys in the shop, went in and asked if I could have a small piece of underlay to fit in a part of the floor where we had an issue (they didn't fit it originally so it wasn't their fault) and they just gave me some, didn't even want anything for it bless! And I will say that underlay is so thick and luxurious. Would go there for carpeting based on that alone!

Having recently used McCorkells I can say that I was very pleased with them. From Cliff who measured up to Joe the fitter, they did a great job, highly recommended.

Awesome l got my stair carpet from there the lads done a great job in my hallway will be using them again soon really good price would definitely recommend to family and friends
