Friendly, attentive, professional. We have lost a few family members over the last 45 years and every time Hazel & Sons have been there to assist. My father passed this time and with a dignity funeral plan the process was easy and comforting. Highly recommended.

I recently used A Hazel & Son for the arrangement of my wife's funeral. It was actually my wife's choice to use them as they had provided their services when a family member had passed away some years previously.On the day that my wife passed away, I contacted Hazel's out of hours service and even though it was nearly midnight, they came to our house to deal with our immediate needs and to remove my wife in to their care.We met Sarah at the Erdington premises a few days later and she was able to talk us through the processes that need to be followed with registration and advise us of the various options of types of service, locations and all of the smaller details that you simply do not think of a a time like this.We were fortunate in that we had the opportunity to discuss the funeral with my wife before she passed and we pretty much knew what we wanted for her. Nevertheless, Sarah made the process of putting all the details together into a plan as painless as possible. From booking the Crematorium to arranging the minister, music, service cards and donation page, I could not have asked for a more smooth, empathetic and professional service.The funeral director Steve who presided over the funeral on the day was equally professional and made sure that all of the arrangements that were in place, went smoothly.I would not hesitate in highly recommending A Hazel & Son if you are ever in the unfortunate position of having to say goodbye to a loved one.

Following the death of my brother, I chose A Hazel and sons to take care of his funeral after reading other reviews and I'm so glad I did. Sarah was fantastic and went above and beyond. I was deep in grief and had never had to arrange a funeral before. Sarah helped me through it every step of the way. She is a kind, caring and lovely lady who has patience and great empathy. She walked us through it all and was honest with what to expect. On the day of the funeral, we had Richard to help us through, making sure we were OK and again helping us get through the day. The drivers were also lovely. All very professional and helpful. It made the whole experience a lot more bearable knowing my brother was in such kind and safe hands.

At a time when you need it most, A Hazel & Sons really stepped up. Great service from everyone I had contact with, which ensured nothing was left to chance. On the actual day of the funeral, it went seamlessly and I can't thank Sarah, who arranged everything , Gary our director on the day and Andrew our driver, enough. After the passing of my mother I went to Hazel & Sons to arrange her funeral. Sarah was the lady who dealt with us, she was very caring, compassionate and professional. She ensured that all our questions was answered and that we felt our mother was being cared for to a high level. Her manner made a very difficult time bearable. My experience with A.Hazel & Sons began with one of their sister company’s on the Isle of Wight who handled everything for me then sent the details to Erdington A Hazel &Sons, where they very professionally took over and handled everything to do with my mums funeral with care and dignity. This is the first time I have had to use a funeral company due to the death of my father. I chose Hazel & Sons as they have been a reputable company on my local high street for many years and are local to me. From the very first phone call to them I knew I had made the right decision in choosing them absolute professional’s who put me at ease and explained everything every step of the way. I was given very good advice and kept up to date with regular phone calls staff I saw were very compassionate respectful and helpful also honest although it was a sad day it was also a beautiful one thanks to them.
