Oakwood Veterinary Surgery

I have 3 cats. All are registered with the Oakwood Vet in Harper Lane and attend for their annual checkups.Munchkin is 17 and a rescue. He has been well looked after by Oakwood and despite some arthritis and kidneys not being great he has a happy life.Tosca is 16 and a rescue. She is quite skinny but still full of life. I have declined further tests for her weight loss as she has a happy normal life.Miso is a lock-down baby and crazy. She has unfortunately had 2 serious injury operations at Oakwood who have been amazing. - it is nice that they are linked to the 24 hour care hospital where we were encouraged to visit Miso when she was recovering from an operation.Rebecca is the kindest vet ever snd even Tosca lets Rebecca trim her claws.I would definitely recommend this practice to any pet owners.

We had a worrying problem with our Spaniel and rang the Vets. They told us to come right away and saw her immediately we arrived. They identified the problem and treated her straight away. We were given medication and advised as to future treatments. Brilliant service.

Oakwood Vets are the best. Emma is fantastic. Always caring and listens to the concerns about Sophia and George. Advised on how to help and long term after care for them both.

Absolutely incredible vets. From registering on day one over the phone to the reception and welcome on arrival from Penny was amazing with so much love and care for my dog. Mimi was so knowledgeable and caring and the other staff so friendly. I cant recommend them enough. 5 stars!

Would highly recommend this surgery to anyone! I visited for the first time today for my kittens first injections and I cannot fault the team at all.They were all kind and welcoming and the vet herself was lovely. As a first time cat owner, I wasn’t made to feel hopeless and the vet offered some very helpful advice!Thank you for making not only myself but also my kitten feel at ease!

Becca the vet was super helpful I'm giving is advice about our new rescue puppy. Staff are so friendly, helpful and calming for the pets. Couldn't recommend enough.

The staff from reception to vets are wonderful people, very helpful and go out of their way to ensure you and your pet are happy. Despite only bringing my puppy in twice so far, Hannah remembered her and didn’t even need to take my surname. We have tried many vets in the St Albans area and this place is by far the best. Highly recommended!
