Best arabic halal food I have eaten so far ...

What a great service! The chef is outstanding and the food is so delicious. The whole team is friendly and lovely. I have tried various meals and everytime the quality is great. I highly recommend Alibaba Sunderland for those who are looking for a fresh, delicious and great quality food.

Definitely not one for leaving reviews as I understand mistakes can be made and fixed however what a terrible experience. We ordered food direct from the website and received a confirmation email to be delivered within 60 minutes. After waiting 1hr 20mins we called and they said they’d not received the order as there was a problem with their machine (this can’t be helped genuine mistake) we replaced the order over the phone and were told 20 minute wait as we are only local. We waited a further 35minutes until the delivery arrived. Upon arrival the food was incorrect and there were missing items as well as being cold. We called again and explained and the lady on the phone said they would send out the missing items for us. Further 15 minutes passed and we called to say leave the missing items as the food was already cold and it’s a waste of delivery drivers time, the man on the phone was very abrupt and my partner explained it wasn’t a great experience to which the man hung up on us. Shortly after the missing items arrived, which of course went to waste as by this time they weren’t needed. It’s a shame because this place had been recommended to us and we were excited to try, we understand mistakes happen however the service was shocking and unfortunately the food - which I’m sure is normally lovely - was very disappointing.I hope nobody else experiences this.

Ordered direct with takeaway over the phone told it would be £38 driver turned up it was £42, could have ordered it via his website for £34 rang back to ask about it guy was quite ignorant

Amazing food the best lamb khabsa i've had. Chef made it nice and spicey for me.
