Walnut Tree Wacky Warehouse

Bad bad bad food. All dried up like it had been out for days. Didn't receive cutlery. £30 on an absolute disaster. Dessert didn't even turn up. Under staffed as hell. Felt pretty bad for the 2 women trying to keep everything together all by themselves in the warehouse and the kitchen.

Play area, OK, staff in the wacky are the only reason this review gets 1 star.The staff in the wacky were friendly and helpful.The staff in the pub restaurant are far from helpful.From taking the wrong orders to bringing out incorrect meals, rude service...Even expecting dining customers to leave their guests at the table to join a queue at the till and explain that the meal is wrong or something is missing from the order.Literally leaving the table, waiting ten minutes at a till to be served again and explain the meal is wrong. All whilst your friends and family wait and your food goes cold.The staff clearly hate their jobs, walk around misserable eyeing up customers and making derogatory comments to one an other.If you value your dining experience, go elsewhere.

My little boy loves it here and we go once or twice a week. All the staff who work here are kind and friendly and always go out of their way to help. It's clean and tidy (as well as can be to say there are children constantly running around) and the staff are always cleaning when not serving customers. I just hope management realises how hard they work and how good they are at their jobs.I'm a picky eater and don't really like meat but love the chicken and waffles and sometimes have it after we've been in the play area on a Friday night. It's a big serving though so we usually share it and take some home.Overall if you want a nice place for your child to play with a friendly environment I cannot recommend it enough. I've met all the staff who work there and they are a pleasure to talk to.

Brought my daughter the other day and she absolutely loved it, Chloe H and Becky were very helpful and friendly. The place was very clean and the food was really good. Would definitely come again.

Staff were attentive but not experienced as they seemed completely untrained. Food was good quality but not even warm, chips were cold, we ordered a starter as a main for 1 of our group and asked for it to come out with the main meals, this got brought out but we had to chase the main meals so that we could eat together, the Nachos had some yellow/brown sauce that tasted nothing like cheese, even the curry was only luke warm and the rice was cold. We will not be attending again

The food wasn't the best, the water off the soggy veg soaked burger, chips were too crispy, the wings were dry. I had combi burger, boys toilets stunk in the wacky warehouse though we're clean so what the issue was is worrying,. Others had the fish and chips and said it was bland. Kids enjoyed sausage and mash. The build your own taco had very dry meat but was ok with salad and cheese.Tables to close to the toilet sadly found out when nearly finishing food and mix of air freshener and toilet is quite bad. 2 pound 70 for a coke was pricey when just a bottle you buy for less than half in a local shop. Ware house was fun and large so day wasn't totally wasted. **Added extra details as could not contact directly**

Always nice and friendly staff. Food is lovely the majority of the time and the kids enjoy a good play too

My daughter had her 3rd birthday party here on Sunday. We found the staff really helpful and friendly, especially Jamie-leigh, Becky & Chloe. Everything we requested was completed without issue and the kids absolutely loved it. The kids got to play and had access to juice throughout. The kids then had a lovely buffet meal with ice cream, followed by pass the parcel where everyone got a little gift so no one felt left out. My daughter was given a little birthday present & everyone was given a little party bag & I was able to add some things into this to personalise. I thought the party in general was great value for money. Plenty of room for all the parents & they were able to order their own drinks and food etc. while the kids played.
