Core Gym

The gym is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. I always feel at home. I've been a member since the autumn of 2022.

I think everything could be great here with just more attention to cleanliness. The showers need cleaning. And the worst part is how much dirt there always is in the jacuzzi. Maybe be more strict on people washing before getting in? I've seen so much dirt in the bottom of there that I can't go into it. Having said that the classes I've been to here are really great and I do love the pool.

This gym with a sauna is a fantastic place to pursue your fitness goals. It offers a clean, well equipped and inviting space for a rewarding workout experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness facility.

Great classes, lots of personal attention from instructors and a good social atmosphere. I've made many friends here! Spin and HIIT are particularly good, look out for Jenna and eliska and mark as they are very fun and knowledgeable.The pool has nice dark lighting and lounge chairs so you can feel like you're at a spa. The jacuzzi can be cold, but when it's hot it's great! The sauna is also good. The steam room not so much! The showers have timers on them which isn't the best. Great smoothie bar out the front.The gym itself has two rooms and all kinds of equipment and machines. You'll find whatever you're looking for.All in all a welcoming place to unwind and energise too!

Revising my previous review after it's been seven months now that I've been a member.1. Expensive and dated, no app of any kind instead you need to carry a card.2. Paid parking which forces you to pay until 8am or park half a mile away.3. Protein shakes seem to be for children, can not find 50g.4. Biggest reason most people enjoyed this gym and I was a regular years ago before, not just stuffed with rude students who will be willing to fight over a bench.5. Complaint twice in my last two visits about the smell and air con off but was told it is how it is.6. Opening hours are also not great as you keep waiting for it to be quiet but then you have to rush and can't finish what you were desperate to finish.7. Not enough free weights and if you use yoga matts, students are standing a stinking 2 inches from your head on the floor and then they will drop big weights next to you with no concept of health & safety.Overall, probably the worst value for money maximising impracticality and inconvenience.Happy to have cancelled my membership today, which was also a forced contract of 6 months.

Great facilities, friendly staff, good discount for JLR staff. Highly recommend.

I think this gym is great! Has a decent gym, the pool is big enough, good sawna/steama I believe every body has a different experience at a certain hour or day! I've been when no one there! I've been when its full etc.. Good little gym.

Went with a friend for a swim and sauna couple of weeks ago. Got day pass which costed us £25 in total for 45 mins. Couldn’t believe how filthy this place has become. Swimming pool area was dirty, could see mould and paint peeling off the walls. Floor in sauna was dirty and full or water. Steam room was out service. Will never be back again.

Great gym, the manager Elleanor has done a lot to improve this place from its days as Pure Gym. TJ, Dan, Ellie and all the other staff are friendly and welcoming and give great advice making it well worth the moneyIf i wasn’t leaving the area I’d happily stay. I wish them all the best!

Filthy to the core. It's always a mess. The equipments are everywhere. Good luck finding the weight plate you need. No visible signs of cleaning attempts on anything what so ever. The yoga mats are soaked in sweat. (Cheap sponge mats btw. )Ventilation in the area is so terrible and you cannot escape from the smell. The locker rooms are extremely disgusting. Mold in the showers..wet and dirty floors, you can see it in the pictures. Some shower cubicles don't even have a door. If you have a decent respect for yourself and still have your sense of smell, I don't suggest you working out there. I wasn't even there in the peak hours btw.
