As a gamer of almost 40 years, I have rarely had such an indifferent experience. Offering a 1-star rating is frankly generous. As a walk-in at the store — coming out of my way to Skipton to check the place out — the two individuals running the place didn't say hello or even make eye contact. My wife and I simply didn't exist because they were too interested in watching something amusing on their tablet. The place looks nice. It's tucked away in an arcade off of the street, up on a balcony. Inside, there's a small selection of wargame sets, paints, a few core D&D books and a display of rare Magic cards near the counter. A bunch of recent board games along one side of the store and in the window. Half of the store is a play space, with big tables for wargames or roleplaying, which is also nice. But, that's where the two people in the store sat and ignored us. I don't know what they thought — maybe, Oh

Small selection of boardgames, no obvious members of staff about. Someone was spray painting terrain at one of the tables causing it to be difficult to breathe in the store.Wouldn't recommend, although the location is nice.

Not really much of a store since they moved. No stock of anything really. Mostly empty paint racks, no board games, hardly any models for sale. Such a shame, used to be a good store. Staff didn't so much as lift an eyebrow when I walked in either. Guess it's just hang out for some of the owners' mates now.

I used to visit the store a few times a week, not anymore, I've visited 4 times in the last year, and 3 of those times it was closed during 'open' hours, without notice posted on facebook. The one time I ask ahead of time if they will be open and I'm told 'It will probably be shut '.Tiny selection of products now days. It's a 2 hour round trip to visit the store for me + petrol and parking not to mention time spent standing outside the shop wondering if anyone will show up to open day, before leaving feeling dejected yet again.

A rarity for Skipton - a gaming and gamers hobby shop. Lovely to have the facility around. The shop is a little shabby but the prices are reasonable.Friendly staff who leave you alone to browse too.

Small store with a few bits including Warhammer, a few paints, brushes and some board games. More variety elsewhere.

Surprised about so many hate comments. Its small shop so Its impossible to satisfy all customers with the stock. Went there myself, when needed advise, asked staff and was helped promptly. Good game was offered according to my needs (Wingspam).I expect staff in shop like this to be at least little bit geeks, so 100% shopping manners are not required, as long as they have knowledge.

Amazing good prices helpfull make people feel welcome loads of things to buy amazing shop and they have a few customers anyone who says it isn't a good shop is very wrong. In my opinion it should be down stairs then more people will be able to see it

Has regular rpg sessions and Warhammer games scheduled every week after hours, with boardgames and tcgs played during the day. Owner more than happy to order in anything you are looking for that isn't in stock for no cost and with a decent loyalty program.

Went in with my 5 year old hoping to find an introduction to Pokémon. The selection of products was verging on the non existent. We found something suitable for him at the big toyshop instead.
