Was a customer for 20+ years. The opticians themselves are pretty decent and friendly. However, whilst it used to be a good, premium-priced optician, it is now mediocre in most respects. Slow refunds for overpayments, which are taken by standing order and then refunded by cheque, which has to be signed off by a senior member of staff, and then posted out by accounts. Very slow to adjust to any changes in the market. It used to be that you'd get much better service here than at your chain store, but the reverse is now true.

What I love about this business is the service and the range of products they have. They work hard a) to look after your eyes and prescriptions b) work with you to find glasses that enhance your look and suit you as a person. Glasses are and should not be seen as Utilitarian they should have the form and the look as well as the function. You wear them all the time - they have to make you look and feel good and you get what you pay for. Making this decision alone is hard, having someone with experiance and who is honest to work with you on your purchase is important (thanks Lee).

Once again amazing service from the guys in the Norwich branch, after years of going to a well known High Street optician I made the change yo Cecil Amey. It was the best thing I've done, the service from the moment you walk in the door is second to none, the time is taken to properly examine and go through any results. The selection of glasses is vast and there is something for everyone! Very happy with my new glasses. Thank you! Keep up the amazing work!

Based on my past 3 years as a customer I have received polite, professional service everytime, showroom has a calm and friendly atmosphere with an extensive range of frames, backed up with excellent product knowledge from Lee.The eye test has been the most comprehensive I have ever had, again, in a relaxed and informative manner, I'm so pleased to have found this branch and would recommend them everytime.

I visited Cecil Amey in Norwich on 28/07/2023 for hearing related tests and was most impressed by the quality of service and care I received.I was seen by Mr Joshua Newman and I have to say that he was both professional and friendly from start to finish of my appointment.Not only did I gain good knowledge and understanding of my hearing problem but I also left with the required results to pass on to my hospital consultant at Spire hospital.All in all a 5 star rating for Cecil Amey and especially for Mr Newman.RegardsR.Postle

Recently attended the Watton branch with my daughter to which ALL the staff were very welcoming and friendly. A lovely lady namely Amber was in our appointment who was very attentive and helpful. Would fully recommend these opticians and will be visiting again.

I moved to Cecil Amey several years ago after being unhappy with my then opticians.I've had brilliant service/care since I registered here. The shop/examination rooms are clean and immaculate. All the staff are really friendly. Getting emergency appointments isn't a problem, and again, the care given is top-notch. I can't comment on the range of frames, etc. Available as I don't need glasses.
