Aston Martin Reading

Firstly when I call to book a service and am promised someone will call me back I don't expect to have to call again 2 days later and have to chase them. When my car was in for a service (which should have taken a day) after day 2 with no phone call to keep me updated or tell me why it was taking so long I had to call them, no one was available so I had to wait into the 3rd day to get a call back. When the car was eventually delivered back it had picked up some damage. When I visited the dealership (a Saturday) they couldn't find the bodywork report but I was assured that I would be called first thing on Monday once they had found it....... I called on WEDNESDAY as I had heard nothing only to be told the damage was on the report, while I have no firm proof that the damage was not on the car when they collected, as a proud Aston Martin owner who looks after my car I know where every scratch and chip is on it, and that certainly wasn't there.Regardless of how annoyed I am about the damage I now have to pay to repair, overall I find the service from this dealership terrible, I shouldn't have to chase them for everything I need, if this was a Ford dealership I'd understand but its not and therefore I expect a far higher standard of service as I am paying a lot of money for the privilege. I previously had a Porsche and I suggest that Aston Martin pop along the A4 and take their notebooks.My advice to anyone wanting more than a coffee when they pop in is to find another dealership.

Beautiful spacious showroom with good range of the cars and various colours available for viewing. Having the Bentley and Lamborghini showrooms next door allows you to see how Aston Martin distinguish their products: combining sportiness and class. The winding roads passing the Thames are perfect for test drives too.

Never call back. Clearly they don't care so i will go elsewhere & recommend others to not waste their time trying to use AM Pangbourne (Reading) but to go to another dealer who values customers more than AM Pangbourne do.

Looking at the reviews I did not send my car in to be cleaned nor to have people suck up to me.I do find it difficult to understand that when you own or buy Aston Martin you are treated by service company to be an idiot and just want to throw your money away.The first time the car went into service it came out with squeaky brakes. The seconded time it came back with squeaky breaks and a damage steering wheel. The result from the director and there manager it is an old damage — how earth can they tell — yet the type of work that they did would point to securing the steering wheel this form of deception is what Arthur Daley would get up to. How an earth does Aston Martin vet or appoint these company —-it is a real turn off.Disappointing

I've dealt with many main dealers, I can honestly Tim at Aston Martin reading has been fantastic from start to finish, very knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond to help me with my purchase of my Porsche 911. The car had a slight issue through no ones fault and Tim had it sorted and even picked me up from the garage and dropped me to the station himself, would highly recommend Tim and Aston Martin Reading.

Appalling Service. Brand new car returned 3 times with similar / new faults. Lack of attention to detail. Poor sales experience - salesman was absent on day of configuration, clearly forgot our appointment. An email to Aston Martin direct ensured the card was finally returned as it should have been at the initial handover.(absolutely fantastic customer service - restored my faith in buying an Aston). I took delivery on 1st September and finally got it back (fixed - as it should have been) on 2nd November. Some Aston Martin luxuries softened the blow but but I wont use HR Owen again.:-(
