Found Simon online when our very high Cypress tree leaned over in recent gales. Came same day gave a quote, back within a week and felled two 40ft Cypress. What a great job, lovely guys Simon and his brother, tidied up, left us firewood which we have easily found a home for. We’ll definitely be having him back for other such work. Highly recommend.

We have just had this company take down six trees for us and several other mature trees pruned and shaped. This took Simon and his colleague almost two days to complete and their service was professional and completed expertly safely and in compliance with our wishes. They chipped and took away all the debris other than the trunks which they cut up for us to burn on our log burner at our request. This was all done at a very reasonable and fair cost and I would not hesitate to strongly recommend this firm. I will be using them again when next needed.

Simon cut down one large tree in our garden that was diseased and he also removed dead wood from another large tree and reshaped it. The reshaped tree looks great. In both cases Simon left the area exceptionally neat and tidy. His approach was professional, knowing his subject, as well as polite and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others whose trees need some TLC.

Simon opened up the crown of my very large and very old apple tree, he has made a beautiful job of it and was very reasonable priced. Friends who have seen it have commented that it's 'Beautifully done', 'Lovely shape' and 'A work of art in itself'. It looks fabulous.He also chipped the cuttings for me, as I requested, so that I can use them on my allotment. Everything was left really tidy.

I chose Simon as it was very evident from his blog that he knows and loves trees.We have just moved here and it was evident that the trees had been hacked rather than pruned for many years. I wanted someone that was able to reshape them which I knew would be a difficult job. Simon took great care in doing this constantly rechecking his work.He was reliable, efficient, professional and very tidy, not to mention a lovely chap!I would recommend his services. Simon Winter pruned our large, neglected Bramley apple tree to bring it back into shape. The tree had gotOvergrown, blocking light from the garden. The branches were so congested the fruit was rubbing and spoiling, leaving the yield in really poor condition. The tree is now a pleasing shape and we look forward to a good harvest next year. We have recently moved here and in a small garden inherited 15 conifers, 7 x13ft tall buddlejia's and several overgrown shrubs/roses.Simon came out promptly to give us a quote and 2 weeks later they completed the removal of unwanted trees. We also had a neighbours conifer overhanging our boundary by 6-7ft which was cut back and shaped allowing light and sun into the house/garden.Very polite, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and extremley tidy.We would highly recommend Simon.Thank you for such a great job.
