I got engaged on Saturday and the ring was slightly too big. After lots of phone calls to big name Jewellers, I was either turned away, quoted an extortionate price or told it would be a ridiculous waiting time (5 weeks plus)... I came across McCalls Antique Jewellers on the internet. I dropped the ring off at 10:30am and it was ready to collect by 2:30pm today! It is perfect and I am over the moon. What an incredible service and friendly staff. I would recommend here 100 times over!

Incredibly helpful and personable service. A huge range of stock and excellent network of contacts for some of the pieces sourced over the years. 1 piece of particular note was a bespoke gift involving liaising across independent designers, stone specialists and ourselves - Karen did a great job and made everything seamless. I would highly recommend.

I recently purchased a vintage engagement ring for my girlfriend at McCalls. They were all extremely nice helping me choose the right ring for my budget. After a couple of weeks we came back for resizing the ring (free of charge, as specified at the time of purchase) and we got all the advice we needed. Because of a little mix-up the resizing took a bit longer than estimated, but we received a surprise bottle of Prosecco as a token of apology... I would not hesitate in recommending McCalls to my friends.

Disappointed by the attitude of the lady that was working/running the store. As a store, your customers should be your number one priority, and as a business you should expect that people change their minds from time to time regarding a product that costs hundreds of pounds. Unfortunately I found her to be quite rude and unwelcoming, also was charged £20 for changing my mind about a product (that I had only left a deposit for, and a product that was never taken down from the website, even after I had paid the deposit).

Visited today to get my partner’s engagement ring resized. The women who served me was very warm, welcoming and helpful in helping me find the best solution to a problem. Excellent service and would highly recommend for any resizing or repairs.

Thank you to the very kind staff at McCalls who saved the day & removed my rings which I couldn't remove due to a swollen knuckle. They also offered good advice on my options to resize or remodel these rings.
