Use this corner shop on my way home for any items I have forgotten to get whilst doing my weekly shop.It is slightly more expensive but that is to be expected.The store stocks a variety of produce and does maximise its space with food displays. The display rack in the middle of the floor opposite the crisps on one wall and wraps and sandwiches on the other is not ideal. Customers are bumping into each other to get past it.Staff are not rude but not friendly either, just there doing a job.

I usually go to Harrison park to Sun bathe, and due to the good weather that we have been getting of late I find the short walk from my house takes me right past Margiottas,and they have a very good selection of real ale, amongst the other good foods and sausage, the staff are always very pleasant indeed. I would definitely recommend this store for anyone who likes a beer and a lunch to eat at the park, or even for a well earned walk along the canal.

I would not shop here after working at another location. Management treat staff terrible and there are several better small grocery/ corner store in Edinburgh that carry local products at a better price. Go have a look on glassdoor reviews of this place if you don't believe me!

Friendly staff and nice music playing whilst you shop. Can be on the pricey side for students but luckily there is a student discount :)

Mouldy veg, out of date milk and the rudest staff I think I've ever come across. Begrudge giving them money but it's the only shop near my work. No smile, no hi, grab your money and ignore you!
