Picked up my aunt from Fir Trees Nursing home on Sunday morning. They charged us £320 to move her 0.3 miles, whilst the undertaker from S Yorkshire came to pick her at a total of 414 miles and charged £380. Feels like we have been exploited.

We used Kempsters for my brothers funeral. Andrew was very friendly and helpful at our first appointment. But it was 10 days before we where able to visit my brother at the chapel of rest and when we did manage to go we where then told that my brother was at another funeral home. We let this go but had wished the communication was better.On the day of the funeral, it just felt very unorganised. I had to remind them that we would be carrying my brother into the crematorium. We had asked for everyone to go into the crematorium before we brought him in but this was not carried out.The celebrant they had arranged for us did not follow the order of service and this was something we had all planned together, so that it was abit of us all in it. We didnt know what was happening. And our family was asking why the order of service was different to the service. It was quite upsetting for my mum and dad.Then the order of service had the wrong month of his birthday on.I just felt it was not given there full attention or organised between them very well.I shouldnt had to of reminded them on the day of what we had already discussed with them and planned.The lady that drove us to the crematorium was so very friendly and a great deal of support on the journey. She was brilliant.

Excellent balance of compassion, patience and slick organisation. Applied the personal touch to proceedings. Would have no hesitation in recommending them to others looking for the right support to give their loved ones a dignified send-off.

Wouldn't use anybody else. Staff are sincere, honest and compassionate. The reviews from Nicky Howick, Christopher Saunders and Yakob Demeza are malicious and are against Google policy. The last two names are the same person.

Andrew in particular we will never forgot his kindness patience and compassion at the worst possible time in our lives of losing our teenage daughter. Throughout a torid time of confusion and utter shock Andrew and his colleagues went over and above what you would expect from this kind of business. Wonderful professional people.
