A quick post to thank Ian Hubbard and his team at Hubbard Torlot in helping us with the sale of our 1 bedroom flat in Sanderstead. Ian has gone above and beyound in advising us on the market and when a buyer was found, given we live abroad, he managed everything making the process very simple. We were delighted with his recommendation with respect to a local solicitor to undertake the conveyancing and his communication through the sales process, right up to completion, was second to none. He even sent through final meter readings for the Gas, Electric and Water given we were not local. My Wife and I are so very grateful for the care and understanding that Ian and his team afforded us and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their property.

I found him to be very kind and patient - and most importantly, he genuinely cared about finding me the right house.I have dealt with many estate agents. But Ian really isn't like any of the others - not aggressive, pushy or salesy. I put my house on the market with Hubbard Torlot just as the house market collapsed. But, despite this, they marketed it quickly and very effectively, such that it was soon under offer. Despite the potential purchaser being committed, there were problems with their purchaser because a previous mortgage offer was withdrawn.I decided to ride this out which meant it ended up taking a year to reach a successful conclusion, Hubbard Torlot respected my decisions and worked incredibly hard to steer everything towards a happy outcome. I can't praise the entire team enough and it's an easy five star review.

I am writing this review 2 yrs later. Ian and his team did not try and extrapolate maximum value on selling the property and I believe were more concerned about the easy sell. Didn't have the presence of mind to advertise as offers in excess when my guideline was a minimum number and seemed to be working to push one individual's offer when we had more than one offer at asking price. Clearly the house was sold too cheap whereas other agents in the area are working hard to get the seller the best price possible. They were also quite lax in getting responses out to the agent of my purchase.
