Thrifty Car and Van Rental Preston

Really impressed with Thrifty, had absolutely no issues with them at all. A car was given to me whilst mine was being repaired through the insurance. The car was really nice and suited me well for my needs. Thank you for a smooth service :)

Let me down 24 hours before I needed the car. No empathy by staff member and no alternative. Was promised a refund and 2 weeks later still not had the refund. Rang up to chase and staff member Darren acted like I was the one in the wrong by chasing my money up and wouldn’t give me a straight answer. Very unprofessional

I’m long term rental customer and I can say that is one of the best customer experience ever. I feel looked after, no issues at all,good advice. I’ll stay for long with them. Don’t go after the prices, maybe You will find something look’s cheaper, wrong, level of cars provided and quality of customer service at Thirfty Preston is priceless.

I hired a BMW M4 for the weekend from Thrifty Preston and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the car was everything I expected and more. Service was quick and efficient. Will definitely use again.

Outstanding service! Had a hiccup mid-hire (my fault!) and Darren (manager) could not have been more helpful. Due to a car accident we rented a hire car through thrifty. From start to finish I can not fault them. Every single staff member was polite and helpful. The lovely lady who answers the phone goes above and beyond to help you. If ever we needed to rent a car again we wouldn't go anywhere else other that this company. Thank you for such a pleasant stress free experience .

Unprofessional handling of a customer complaint...You only find out how good or bad a company is when things go wrong and they way they handle it.Long storey short: after being told by the manager different times to deliver the car, and then it turning up at 12.15 instead of 10am, I missed a half days pay. He gave me really pathetic excuses which I called him out on and he did not like that, then the car turned up dirty, I complained about this and he cancelled the hire leaving us with no car, I am sure Directline will not approve of this behaviour as it reflects on them. I have made an official complaint it is the only way we can stop badly managed business treating customers like this.

Great service from Harry. BM 320m sport for £75 for a day..bargain. Will definitely use again. No probs leaving my own car in the compound over the weekend either
