I've been having my hair done by Jade for over 3 years now, always ending with amazing results, I always have bright colours and a different style everytime, and she loves the challenge! Great atmosphere in the salon from all the staff, I've now moved an hour and a half away and still come back to jade as I wouldn't go anywhere else!

My first time going here and I’m over the moon with my hair!! The staff were very friendly and understanding of what I was after, had many bad experiences elsewhere but couldn’t recommend this salon any more, will be using much more regularly which I’ve never done before :)

Have been going here for years, having my hair done by Rachel, occasionally Lauren, both are excellent hairdressers.. the Salon is friendly and not afraid to have a laugh with you.It seems to me some people who don’t really know the staff give a bad review, that’s fine, but I can honestly say, that not one of them has been rude or condescending towards customers..So Emma Emma think before you write and spell. I’m sure Rachel was her normal friendly self.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have never left a negative review before, but after having time to think about the service I received, I thought I should. As reviews are something I particularly look for especially for a treatment etc.I have been to the Hair Company before and the lady I had before was lovely, she had long blonde hair. So on my past experience I went back, unfortunately not with the lady I had first. But the receptionist suggested to try someone else. So I booked an appointment with Steph. I arrived 8mins late to my appointment due to an issue with at home. As I arrived I apologised for being late and i was fine if I wasn't able to be seen. They asked for me to take a seat and I waited a few moments. As the lady came out, she walked me straight over to have my hair washed, with my purse and phone still in hands. I asked if I could put them somewhere. Which she gestured to the side. I sat down to have my hair washed. Her first impression was cold, she didn't welcome me, ask me my name or tell me hers. She didn't sit me in the chair to discuss what I wanted done to my hair. This was once she had started washing it. I just needed a trim. I thought it was possibly because I was late so I let it slide. The wash I received was a very basic wash. No head massage, no talking... which made me feel awkward!Once sat in the chair, she then asked me more about my hair when it was very wet. I said it needed a cut due to it being awhile since I last had it done. I wanted some long rounded layers through the back and not much taken off the front. I asked if she could blow-dry my hair and add some volume. (The blow-dry only hairdressers can achieve normally.) No drink or anything offered!!She cut my hair and started to dry it, only adding oil and no other heat protector. I stated my hair is quite think and is wavy in parts. I can honestly say it was the worst blow-dry experience in my life, she roughly dried it and took the round brush and plonked it on the top of my hair pulling it downwards. My neck was working overtime trying to stop her yacking it so much. It was not a pleasant experience at all. I tried to recommend ways to do it, in a polite way, as I felt uncomfortable telling her what to do. I feel I wasn't listened to. When she had 'finished' I was shocked! My heart actually started beating so fast as I wasn't sure if she had finished!! My hair was still wet in places and it was frizzy at the ends. Not smooth like you normally get at the hairdresser's. I felt so uncomfortable having to speak up saying I wasn't happy. I asked her if she was happy with what she had done... she just said she didn't know what she wanted me to do. I wanted to leave a happy customer with nice hair. It was far from it! I actually started feeling incredibly sad, this was not the experience I had expected at all!! The other hairdresser came over after Steph had suggested. The options given was another hair wash, which would of meant going through that again ( but was told the had another customer coming in) or they offered to straighten it, this is something I try to limit as it damages my hair, anyway I agreed and they both straightened it. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. I just felt like crying which I had almost done and felt so embarrassed!!! Anyway she handed me the mirror to look at my hair, and it was wonky! But she said it was how I was holding the mirror.They didn't make me pay for the hair cut. Which I responded to that I hadn't come in to get it free, I wanted to leave happy, with a nice hair cut.I know everyone has different experiences. But this was mine. I'm utterly shocked with Steph's poor customer service and her ability to actually be a hairdresser. I'm am not a rude person. And I tried to be as polite as I could in this situation. But the treatment I received was shocking, I believe the owner needs to address Steph with these issues! Unfortunately I will not be returning. Which is a great shame as the lady I had on my first appointment she was wonderful. (Rachel I believe??)

I went in last Saturday after an awful cut and colour by another salon a couple weeks before, Leah absolutely transformed and rectified my hair resulting in a beautiful colour and the best cut I have had on it in years! Will definitely be going back there, lovely salon, all staff were friendly, highly recommended
