I have just returned home after having surgery in Ballykelly. I cannot thank the staff enough for their attentiveness and care. Did everything they could to make me comfortable and pain free. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks again

My Son just has his tonsils removed in kingsbridge hospital,The care he got here is the best Iv ever seen,The doctor and nurses are the most friendly, reassuring and professional Iv seen,Doctor McBride is on another level,While waiting myself and my partner was fed like kings with dinners, sandwiches, tea and coffee,Angie one of the nurses was so friendly with unbelievable advice, Sarah was super again the professional advice is on another level,I wish I took all there names because they were on top of there league.Thank you all so much

I was in for a day procedure.The building itself is clean and has good covid measures in place. Temperature check and hand sanitiser as you go in. A very nice receptionist told me where to go.I went to admissions office where the lady was very nice helpful and friendly.I was shown to my room which was spacious and had your own en suite.My nurse was called Theresa and she was very friendly and put me at ease.I was wheeled round to theatre and all staff were friendly and joking around with me which made me feel less anxious.Afterwards I got toast and tea brought to me. Overall I would highly recommend this hospital.

I received open surgery treatment at Kingsbridge Hospital, Ballykelly on 5th June 2023 for carpal tunnel syndrome by Mr Sreenadh Gella & was recently seen by Mr Gella for a follow up.Mr Gella is very patient focused and caring, has a good sense of humour and witty. I cannot thank Mr Gella and all other medical staff who attended to me enough for their expert care and attention. Everything went extremely well and I highly recommend Mr Gella and Kingsbridge Hospital.The hospital is nestled within the quiet village of Ballykelly. There is a quiet, peaceful atmosphere with friendly staff and pleasant surroundings which makes for a very pleasant and stress free environment for anyone requiring hospital treatment.

I went to Kingsbridge Hospital for cross boarder care from Dublin, and the care I got was second to none! From admin,to the surgical team and ward staff to the catering team, 10/10 for all!I spent 2 nights in Kingsbridge, and although I was so far from home and feeling quite vulnerable, the amazing staff at Kingsbridge looked after me so well! 10/10 for cleanliness!! A huge thank you to Mr Khan and his amazing team, especially the staff on the surgical ward,nothing was too much for any of them!Amazing care,amazing staff,amazing food...A huge big thank you and we'll done!

I do not recommend this hospital. Although when having a look at reviews, I am not the first to have gone through this experience! I have had have a similar experience as Malachy Dutton mentioned here. I was told on my first phone call my minor surgery for a removal of a lipoma on the forehead would cost between £600 -£900 (Not including £281.50 consultation fee) Similarly to Malachy, the consultant (mine was Gerard smith) said I would have to go to theatre also, for local a local anesthetic rub for the forehead. He said he didn’t know what it would cost, i ended up getting a text a week prior my appointment stating that I had to make a payment of £3600 for this procedure. I phoned and they said no error has been done, and that is the quote head office has decided upon, tried to explain and reception refused to allow me to talk to the doctor. I am now out of pocket £281.50 consultation fee because I can’t afford £3,600, which if they had of been straight in the first instance start i wouldn’t have paid anyway. How on earth can I get a quote ranging from £600-£900 (depending on the size of the lipoma) and then for them to turn around and say it’ll cost me £3,600. Where is the reasoning behind that figure? I’m so confused, seems to me that they are a bunch of cowboys and this is a common occurrence on this hospital. I will be making sure that all family and friends in Derry know. Not to mention I can’t find anywhere in the UK and Ireland charging such prices. The lipoma I have is 1.5 cm which is relatively small and I have not found any other surgery charging over £1500 which is for lipomas 3cm and above! Not happy at all and if they were any way professional a full refund for the consultation should be given for this inconvenience. A complete waste of time and effort. Stay clear of this place. (UPDATE - I got the lipoma removed by Medix Clinic in Dublin with no issues and a perfect job roughly costing €900 all in. :)

We had a wonderful experience at kingbridge private hospital yesterday from reception staff to nurses and our wonderful consultant Mr Gerard Smith who did procedure for our son he was so professional highly recommend this hospital also the hospital was spotless great house hold staff regards Martin Higgins

1st class.I had a hysterectomy performed by Dr. McCracken last week. I had 1st class service from all the staff. Everyone was very kind, considerate, and caring. I can't fault anything or anyone. I was awake the night of my surgery, and I had coffee and biscuits on tap. Warm and friendly staff.
