Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Deepdale

Recently seen by Nicole at Specsavers Deepdale. Second time I have received excellent service from her. Clear and simple helpful advice for someone like me who is relatively new to wearing glasses. Recommended.

Appalling experience with this optician, not once or twice about more than four times they have given a wrong prescription, wrong glasses, no apology, very rude staff, customer service does not exist here, no greeting to customers, this are some of the first things they do to you when you enter the store - no greeting to customer, start rolling their eyes, staff giggling among them, keep getting the name and other details wrong, easier to just write your details and give to them if you want to save time, absolutely a joke place, no respect to customers at all, not recommended, there are much better opticians out there. Disgusting and shame on them.

Brilliant service. My first time in 20 years having my eyes tested. I was very nervous but the staff made me feel welcome and at ease from the off. Had an eye test at deepdale this morning. Staff were lovelyand professional. Extremely helpful when choosing glasses. Would highly recommend.

Having only ever had to wear one pair of glasses, recently I found I needed reading and distance separately, optician discussed varifocals which i was nervous about, but went for it after being told I can have them on a 3 month trial, any problems in that time and they would take them back and switch for 2 separate pairs, varifocals now worn for a few weeks and I'm very happy with them. Staff were all friendly and really helpful.

Staff were friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to buy anything. There was also a good range of frames available as well as lens options.

Took my glasses to get tightened and they cracked the arm of the glasses when doing this. they also bent the glasses so it it gave me a fishbowl effect leaving me to suffer with headaches and nausea. When I went back the next day to ask them to fix it they refused and said as the arm was cracked they were unable to do anything. I took the glasses to the Blackburn branch who straightened the glasses and tightened them for me as well as fitting me in for an eye test straight away. Blackburn branch explained as a short sighted person my glasses shouldnt have been bent in this way as it affects my lenses.

I came into the store on Sunday morning 25th June for a quick tune up of my glasses to be greeted and served by a young looking colleague i think was called Connor, polite, confident and quick with job I was really pleased with the service, it always makes a difference when staff are like this.
