Goldie and her assistant are lovely people, I am realy pleased with my hair.They made me feel welcome and looked after me. They both have hearts of gold and are excellent hairdressers.I will certainly be returning.

Goldie is second to none at what she does! So much experience and patience, she clearly takes great pride in doing a perfect job and that priority is reflected in the price you pay, she doesn't charge stupid prices at all. I'm not a person that enjoys sitting in a salon and usually feels uncomfortable but the warmth and friendliness she brings to her salon and shop makes me look forward to visiting again and again. I highly recommend a visit to this place, will not be disappointed

My mother recommended me to go and get my hair done at this salon as usually my family members would do my hair for me but told me to give this a shot , the lady had a bad attitude from the get go, clearly does not know how to treat customers.I booked my appointment weeks in advance for 11am she 1. turned up at 11.30 i understand people can be late but this already gave a poor impression and I had places to be hence why i booked in.she quoted 40 on the phone when i went to pay it then became 50 and she raised her voice at me for questionning our agreementshe grabbed my phone out of my hand and put it on the side without even consulting me, i was pretty shocked but let it slideI went to get the extra cash out for her for the 50 she re quoted me on and because i grabbed my bag she again raised her voice to say why are you going with your bag as though to accuse me for not paying the rest , all in all the hassle was not worth the standard of her trade.

I have been doing my hair at unique for a very long time..and have always left satisfied..apart from the quality of hair done...their customer service is second to none.. definately is unique for me any time... why don't you give it a trial?

Went in here as I like to think that having curls is full time maintenance. I've been in plenty of afro Carribbean places that haven't belittled me for not having afro hair or being told that my hair isn't afro enough for her products. I got belittled, got told I'm too white why am I in here? Your hair isn't curly enough for our products. Got talked down to and got laughed at for paying in money as I left my card at home. I bought a wave gel and got told that that's all they can do for me. Afro Carribbean products do work in my hair, I've tried lusters pink and it works fine, and my hair isn't afro as my family isn't of that origin. But one of my parents is Latin American, so to be called white" is beyond disrespectful. I walked out of this place with tears

Goldie is absolutely amazing and her colleague my hair looked amazing people kept commenting on my hair how lovely it was cant wait to have it done on saturday again dor my holiday to malta very value for the money

Ok if you need somewhere local to go for your hair. You have to be confident in asking for what you want as the owner tries to tell you what's best for you according to her and doesn't really listen to your needs. My mum had her hair done, it was a basic cut and dye but to most of the afternoon. I struggled to get an estimate timeframe for how long it would take to do braids on my hair so didn't end up going there. She doesn't tell you the cost despite asking so be prepared to pay more than you expected to.
