Excellent service from Alastair for our broken lock on our upvc door. The handle was dropping and not opening without a key. He came out very quickly and resolved the issue. The work done was very thorough and Alastair cleaned the area that he worked on around the door before finishing the job. Really impressed and would definitely recommend and would use again.

Alastair? Ala STAR more like. Promptly arrived diagnosed issue, ordered part and put temporary fix in. Then promptly returned and finished the work. Extremely courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Could not recommend his work highly enough.

Alastair came to replace our cylinder in our lock and even went to the extra effort of trying to adjust the door that was starting to lean. He went above and beyond and was very polite and friendly I would recommend him and will definitely use him in the future.

Excellent service from Lockfit. When my front door lock broke, Alaistair was with me within an hour of my call. He knew exactly what he was doing and, luckily, had a new lock in his van. Half an hour later I had a new, uprated, lock.He’s not cheap but, in the circumstances, well worth the money.

Alastair is an absolute wizard and gentleman. Extremely professional, great price and fantastic workmanship. He came to resolve an issue that we had with the front door being extremely stiff and unable to open without snapping the key. He resolved it no time and also tidied up the handles and mechanism at the same time, without even mentioning it. I also asked him to resolve an issue with a barrel that kept on coming out in our garage door. Originally he thought the barrell had bust, and I was happy for him to replace it fully. Soon after he realised it was a small fix and was honest about it, meaning he lost out on money. He also cut a few keys for us while being here and it was only meant to be an emergency call. He is extremely honest and did fantastic work. I cannot recommend him enough. Not only the best in Bedford, but the best I have ever used and I have used a few locksmiths in my time! Thank you mate

He went above our expectations with recommendations of future solutions to our locks, as well as helpful advice in our new home. Alistair is extremely professional, knowledgable, friendly, thoughtful and efficient.On his first visit he arrived when he said he would. The second visit, to bring a different coloured lock, he was delayed with an emergency, he let me know and apologised for delay, keeping me updated. Good old fashioned courtesy can’t be beaten.Replacing my front door lock he very kindly considered the colour of lock both inside and outside. He can also cut extra keys if required.I recommend Alistair wholeheartedly and will certainly call him again if the need arises.
