Absolutely wonderful. So much to see and do - something for everyone, all ages. Free parking is a bonus. I had a cake in the cafe which is the best cake I ever had (and I'm 72 so I've had a lot of cakes)! Love this place.

What a revelation. I'd never been to an RHS garden before, and this recent addition to their offer was breathtakingly good. The welcome centre is large and airy, offering good food and drink, and an extensive garden centre. The gardens themselves are impressive and had obviously been planned very carefully. When we went (August), there was a great diversity of flowers and plants. And further afield from the magnificent walled gardens was a Chinese garden that was still in a state of development. That is, they had built a gorgeous pagoda, but had illustrations of the additional buildings that were due in the coming months and years. At present, Bridgewater is a work in progress. It hasn't been open that long and their plans for the future can be found at various points around the gardens. I can't wait to return in a couple of years' time to see what's changed.

Another wonderful visit to Bridgewater last weekend. Stunning gardens and plants. The only drawback was the queue for the restaurant was incredibly long, but we simply went to a local pub instead.

We visited for the first time recently. What a superb place. Better than RHS Harlow Carr, in our opinion. Superb planting and flowers. It was very easy to walk round and the lakes and woodlands were great. Despite some people saying it's not mature in their reviews, we were pleasantly surprised at how mature and far-developed it is. We especially enjoyed the Old Frameyard with its trials of Hydrangea Paniculata and Heleniums. Absolutely stunning! The Welcome Building is also really impressive with a great shop and plant sales. Can highly recommend a visit. We shall return!

Fantastic place to visit. So big with such a selection of gardens and planting to encourage inspiration but also a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. I could spend hours here just enjoying the various gardens. The cafe has a nice selection of food but be prepared to wait. The garden centre also has a good selection of plants a lot of which are featured in the gardens.I pay the rhs membership and for a fiver a month it’s worth it to visit places like this as often as you wish. With a guest included.

Beautiful way to see nature. Lots of walks. Huge grounds, plants, flowers, history, cafes and shops. You can spend quite a few hours here. They do have toilets and a few tables for picnics here.

Always something different to see, lovely places to eat and drink, well-stocked plant centre and gift shop. Annual membership great value if you live fairly close. Excellent ideas for own gardens.
