East Bierley Golf Club

Am not a golfer, but went for our anniversary party on recommendation of several people who had been before.Only a small club, (think seats up to about 60), so not huge choice of beers, but quite reasonable in relation to size.Staff really helpful and friendly in arranging our party. Buffet meal ,(hot, cold or mixed) created from good choice of food tailored to our individual requirements.Tony's meat pie had been recommended, and after tasting it understood why. Delicious.Ok...they don't take cards, but being aware of this shouldn't cause any problem.Club bar is open to non members.

The food here is fantastic, the owner takes great pride in his food, presentation and ensuring customers are happy.

Still a great club to visit ,and while you are there, join the golf club, and have a great pint at the bar, only a small selection of beers, but what they have is good, they have delivery of beer weekly, so as you can guess, a good turn over in beer, you won't be disappointed.

This is a nine hole course, which is a good test of your golf. Not easy walking or greens! The staff in the clubhouse/restaurant were lovely and helpful too. All in all, good golf and a good meal.

Hanson's restaurant was a lovely venue for our staff meal. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend and go there again.

Really lovely venue for an event, I have been to a birthday and christening now and on both occasions was very impressed, the bar is small but plentiful, the bar staff are friendly, the food was gorgeous and rates amongst the best buffet food I have had in a long time, there are tables and chairs outside to sit at if it gets a litte warm inside, the ladies toilets are a short walk but kept clean and stocked, really accommodating for small children too if a little short on space but everyone is comfortable.

I djayed a party there and have done do in the past.The club interior has undergone a really nice refit since I was there last and look amazing

Lovely place, lovely views, lovely staff and other customers (invited to special do) also lovely.
