We bought a little Vauxhall for my daughter from this garage about a year ago. It has been a great car and has never let her down. They recently serviced and MOTed the car for her at a very reasonable price which was a help as she is a student nurse. We were so happy with the service that we bought a family car from them last month. Highly recommended.

I brought an Audi TT from this garage. The garage had claimed a service had been done and all was good. Later found out the brakes were dangerous and the service had either not been done or had been done incorrectly- wrong spark plugs, no oil and air filter change. Be very weary. Did take up various under the warranty but no help at all. They did address the fumes escaping into the cabin, this should have been picked up as part of any competent service.

Manager/owner could be more friendly and focused on customers who spend thousands of ££££ rather than on car he is selling. Had problem with immobilizer in key and strange noise in the wheels. Ignored noise focused on faulty key as could not start the engine. I think they resolve problem as car is working fine now so pushed by curiosity investigated noise from from wheels about 2 month after purchase. Take a look for picture and please answer yourselves: HOW THOSE FRONT BRAKES PASSED M.O.T. in the day of purchase!!!This is A F D dealing with red check engine when selling cars - they put black silicone on LED to hide issue.

I have been using AFD for all my repairs and servicing and MOT for the last 7 years on my old Toyota Rav 4 and the service the owners give you is second to none. They even came to collect my car in the morning and returned it the same afternoon. A genuine and honest garage at a low cost. Just the best.

We purchased a car from AFD (Dominic and Farhad). The car immediately had problems and even though AFD sold the car with a guarantee they did nothing about the problem, just pretended to look at the car. So we took them to Court and won! We would never purchase a car from this Company ever again!

A freind can't get on with the Internet so he's asked to leave review, he bought a van in December 2022, drive all the way from southeast England Kent, bought the van full years mot with warranty, drive 20 miles to go home and the engine blew up , had to leave in a garage fir aa to recover and take back to the garage, they said they replaced the engine with one from from another the same git from a scrap yard they sent me my van back after waiting for just over 2 weeks, then 2 weeks later after having back the engine virtually blew up again with fuel leaking oil leaking jets tapping and water passing out aswell. They have now have and im waiting fir my full refund which is 5200 pounds if I don't receive this by the end off the week ill be going to a solicitor as you can see by others on here they've and won there case, this isn't a very respectfully business looks to me there just after ya money and whipping out invalid mot,s , steam very clear off this company, ill also be phoning dvla to report on fake mot,s.

Don’t waste your money. They gave the van a MOT and within 200 miles I’ve had to replace tyres, brakes and wheel bearings. Ive also noticed the exhaust has a split too

Being in need of a van very quickly, I foolishly ignored warnings and advice from friends and bought a Peugiot Partner from the AFD. The realisation of my error came about six minutes after purchase when I stopped for diesel and the fuel cover was held in place with Blu Tac!. Had this been the only issue I would have lived with it but the MOT certificate that appeared so quickly after I showed interest had no advisories when it was given to me even though many issues that should have failed were passed. I am having their certification approval investigated by the Vehical Standards Agency. Only months later, a slave cylinder failed and they quoted me £160 inclusive to fix it. Without my permission, they fitted a full clutch and other sundry parts bringing the bill to £545. I cannot understand how an organisation like this stay in business, but I strongly suggest you look elsewhere if buying second hand or looking for vehicle repair. The staff are arrogant, aggressive and argumentative. I am currently looking into various other aspects of their business but there are many other companies with far higher standards available in Nottingham. You have been warned!

Avoid. Go elsewhere cause you’ll regret it if you don’t. So far after only a few months of ownership I’ve paid over a grand on putting things right and that number is still climbing. From missing handbrake buttons, broken speakers to faulty locks you name it. Things that a car dealer would or should no are wrong in the first place and for whatever reason hasn’t fixed them or atleast had the decency to tell you so you don’t discover them issues down the line. Crooks.
