Steve came out within half an hour of my phone call about my boiler leaking after 5pm. Stopped the leak that night. We knew we needed a new boiler. Leaked on the Tuesday and we had a new boiler fitted by him and his team by Friday. Cannot fault work and they were so tidy. Very professional and very good price. Would recommend!

Steve and his team do an excellent job and I would recommend their services to anyone. I've had a new boiler installed, feeds for new radiators, and a a boiler service. I can't fault their workmanship or prices at all; they are punctual, tidy and keep you informed all through the job. Steve even came across at late notice to sort out an issue that our gas supplier had made and sorted it out for us within an hour to ensure we had our boiler back online. Would definitely recommend their services.

I've been waiting long enough to write this review because I wanted to have all the evidence in place that they did an appalling job to install my new Viessmann Vitodens 100-W boiler.First off, I came across this company by doing some research on the web trying to find Viessmann installers in the North East and I based my choice on the good reviews, which at this point, I don't quite understand.I called Steven Robinson to give me a quote of the new installation and he seemed very experienced. He described the job to be done and after I received the quotation I was happy for him to proceed as it was quite a competitive price.I was a little surprised when I opened the door the day the work was agreed to start and only see a group of young workers. I trusted they were qualified and accepted that they did the job. That was a massive mistake. The job took four and a half days for them to complete even when they were a crew of four and they rushed to complete it. The last day of work they were desperate to leave my house provided the poor job they did.Since the first minute after they left, I became a nuisance for them and all because the problems started as soon as they finished. First thing was that they didn't check all radiators were heating up properly. I called them and sort out the problem, although they made me buy a radiator valve that they didn't finally use. The next problem was more serious as they forgot to tighten one of the pipe joints in a cupboard and caused damage to my living room ceiling which was fixed by a painter decorator they provided, although the ceiling now does not look is it used to. Finally, a leak in the water condensation flue occurred and, at this point, they refused to answer my calls.Provided all that happened I decided to call another gas engineer to service my boiler after a year and that was the definite proof of the awful job they did. He described the work as amateur and spotted a number of serious issues:- Too small pipes do not provide enough flow to make downstairs radiators work properly.- A bent section of a grey plastic flue in the boiler (shown in one of the pictures attached) can freeze up in a harsh winter and cause damage to the system.- The black exterior pipework is absolutely innecesary and looks ridiculous (again can be seen in one of the pics). Also it wasn't properly attached to the wall and is leaking condensate water on my patio.- The condensate water flow is directed to one of the drains in my property which causes pollution of fresh water due to this waste being acidic and can lead to a fine of thousands of pounds.- They didn't attach a filter to the boiler which made me lose 5 years of the warranty.- New pipework wasn't connected to the gas main from the right place.- They used cheap materials (plastic pipes instead of copper ones).I also realised they are not listed as Viessmann trained installers although they state the opposite on their website.Regarding the fact Steven Robinson sent a group of young people, it is absolutely alright to delegate work to them if they have the right qualifications and experience, which I don't think they have at all. On top of that, he didn't even turn up to supervise nor ask me for feedback.To sum up, they clearly didn't know what they were doing, so I'm now in a position that I will need to invest a significant amount of money to get all of this amended, so if you're thinking of installing a new boiler my advice is to avoid Robinson heating at all costs

The first thing to say is that I found Steve's details on the list of accredited Worcester-Bosch installers. Why is this important? Because, only the accredited installers grant the long guarantees, so if Steve and his team install your W-B, you get the maximum length guarantee.I contacted Steve (and others) about replacing an ailing combi and re-siting it to the garage; Steve was by far the most responsive. I also obtained online quotes and Steve's was competitive against these. I chose Steve based on him being local, competitive and responsive.He was able to offer an installation date within a week of the quote; this was important to us as at the time (January 2021), it was cold and we had only intermittent heating and hot water.His team did all the work within one day (as stated) and did a good job tidying afterwards.Would I recommend him? Yes, unhesitatingly.

We had a new boiler installed just before lockdown and we were really impressed with Steve's professional approach to his work. He was very helpful and provided us with great information in order for us to choose the best boiler for our needs. The price was very reasonable. We had Steve back to service our fire recently. Excellent help offered as he discovered the fire had been poorly installed when we got it a few years ago from a fire specialist merchant. We would highly recommend Steve for servicing and new installations.

I had a new boiler installed. Steve called round very quickly on the same day I made an enquiry and was very helpful in discussing my options. His team did a very efficient and speedy job when fitting the boiler and fully cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended.

Great service and work carried out really well. Called Steve out as our boiler had stopped working and had no heating or hot water. He was around within a few hours and managed to get the boiler working while arranging a replacement that was installed the next working day. The team who installed were great and left everything tidy. Would recommend!

We've been very happy with Steve & the Robinsons team previously fitting a new boiler for us and servicing our boiler in a rental property, so I called him when my elderly parents required a valve replacement on a radiator that was leaking. Steve was really understanding and managed to get to them later that afternoon. Polite, friendly, professional and really importantly (yet something that sadly is lacking in many people) he is very communicative. It just makes all the difference and I knew I could rely on him coming out when he said he would. Great all round service, will definitely be recommending to friends & family. Thank you!

I can't praise Steve highly enough, he came out within 1 hour of my call to him on a Friday and gave me an excellent price for a new boiler, came on the Monday and he and his team fitted a new boiler which is a vast improvement on my last system.
