Blackpool Promenade South
A lovely stroll on a fine summer's day, but I enjoy walking this quieter stretch of the prom at any time of year. Two levels of wide accessible space for walking and cycling, invigorating sea air and great views plus interesting modern artworks representing all the different aspects of a traditional Blackpool holiday. Plenty of seating and some shelters, a couple of them that turn in the wind! Good to see people out and about enjoying themselves while social distancing.

Beautiful sandy beach. We had a wonderful time. Kids loved it as they could play in the sand. Better to check tide time before going. When we went it was full tide and had to wait few hours when tide began to go down.

Went a few days ago to see the lights at night. Eventually decided to look at the beach. It was a mess. Why people can't pick up after themselves is beyond me. Disgusting behaviour.

Cool place for one day trip, people are lovely and there are a few things to visit. Ps on summer is frozen cold for an European ( Mediterranean indeed). But overall it's a nice place where you will truly feel the real British cuisine and culture.

This is a great area for a dusk or dawn walk. Or just simply stand and watch the water. Far fewer people this end of the promenade. Great for an early morning run.

The promenade has been done up really nice and makes for a very pleasant walk along the front. There's lots of benches to rest and watch the world go by, plus lots of steps giving access to the beach. There's also a tram which runs up and down the promenade which is good.

A lovely flat walkway by the beach with access points down onto the beach. Lots of benches to be able to sit and rest or watch the world go by.

Lovely clean open space which is naturally quieter than further north in the centre. Everything here feels as if it is good quality and made to last. Enjoy lovely views up to South Pier and - at low tide - across the vast, golden sands.

Wonderful to walk along and enjoy the sea views. Great to cycle along also easy to navigate for wheel chairs and buggies. Lots of seating along the way to rest and enjoy the sights,
