Waves Hand Car Wash Purley

Thought I'd try them to my usual car washes - what a mistake.Over priced for a very poor job. When I complained was told it was my fault for not having the car washed more often. The alloy wheels were awful and was told it would come off. Scrathed with my nail and it just lifted off. When i pointed this out they became aggressive and talked in their own language. I left promptly as i felt very threatened by their attitude.

Used service for a basic exterior wash on 26/4/22 which normally costs £12-14. For some reason, I was being quoted a different amount on the basis that my car was a size 4 car (amounting to £18). On pushing back on the amount, the staff were adamant and refused to provide a price catalogue. I paid them and eventually found on their website that my car would be a size 3 (£15). While it’s a small amount which was being overcharged, I found their stubbornness quite rude and refusal to acknowledge an error in grading my vehicle. Besides this, my car wasn’t cleaned properly and still has marks on all windows. Not happy paying a premium for such shoddy and rude service.

Only given 3 stars due to the price. Washing and cleaning inside and outside of a Saloon costs around £32 which to me is not affordable. The car wash people are very helpful and polite, especially the owner and the team lead.I wouldn't say that cleaning is like how you do it at home and I believe no car wash company will be able to match that. They may have the equipments and man power, but nothing can compare to you taking care of your own car. Good thing is you get the shopping + fuel done in a single trip to Tesco.After reaching home, I detailed the car again for 10-15 mins.

They did a good job, my car was spotless BUT they charge a lot more than the Waves car wash in the Tesco where I used to live in north London. It cost £16 to have the inside and outside of my small Fiat 500 cleaned at my old Waves but £25 for the same thing here. The other reviews saying this place is expensive are correct!

I thought I’d give Waves a try, and I have to say, for £35, I was disappointed.The interior had not been cleaned thoroughly - the leather seats still had stains, under the front mats there was bits of grass, and other debris, and externally the rims were still partially dirty.I won’t be returning, nor recommending.

Yes the car wash isn’t as cheap as some local car washes but you get what you pay for. All their products are top end so won’t damage your car. They are also fully insured so if anything was to happen your fully insured. For me it’s worth the extra money for your piece of mind. It’s also well run family business under good management

Excellent service, my car looks like new. I’m dog walker and pet sitter plus having my own dog and cats as well I thought the days having nice and enjoyable car, were gone but was wrong. All the dog hair and dirt was gone. Very impressed. I will use your service more often.

Sorry to say, extremely shoddy cleaning today for an exorbitant charge. Won't be returning. I wouldn't recommend under any circumstances.
