Regrettably, my experience with Carpetright took an unfavourable turn following the payment phase. The Harlow branch, initially accommodating, exhibited a decline in service marked by poor communication and difficulty in issue resolution. Although , the branch's manager walked an extra mile every way he could, yet some of his colleagues stood in his way providing poor service.The assigned fitter, Terry, conducted himself in an unprofessional and discourteous manner, coupled with substandard workmanship on the stairs' grippers, leading to ongoing discomfort and safety concerns.Despite addressing these issues, Terry displayed dismissiveness and a lack of accountability. Furthermore, the branch's erroneous instructions resulted in the misplacement of two different underlays in incorrect rooms, a matter the fitter neglected to rectify. Throughout the installation process, Terry's loud engagement with a news channel hindered effective communication and demonstrated a disregard for client preferences.His delivery of the runner to my residence was marked by rudeness and passive-aggressiveness, prompting my report to the branch manager.The overall impression is that post-payment interactions with Carpetright demand an undue amount of luck. I often wonder if the treatment would have been different had I been a man—perhaps with more respect and appreciation??...For those seeking both quality carpets and a positive customer experience, considering alternative options is advisable. This advice is sincerely offered based on the challenges encountered during my engagement with Carpetright.
