After scrolling through multiple social media platforms and trade websites looking for real life examples of tar & chip driveways, I came across KDG Surfacing.Karl and his team have been fantastic from start to finish, providing sound expert advice along the way. Karl always kept us updated and couldn’t do enough to ensure we got the driveway outcome we wanted. The transformation has been huge and we are so very pleased with the result! What an outstanding company. Karl and his team just completed a 220 sq metre driveway for me and the result is superb. Very organised, very professional and no compromises at all. Karl and his team were a delight from start to finish, doing a very professional job, at a very reasonable price.Karl came and measured up, giving us a quote within a day, and then came again the day before the work was due to start, to measure up again, and advise us on start times, and how the work was to be carried out. He is a really pleasant man, polite, courteous and affable, so we had no qualms in using his company.The work was carried out over 2 days, and the finished article was excellent, we are really pleased with it. They cleared up after themselves, there was very little mess made, and we would certainly use them again, should the need ever arise, 5 star performance.

We asked Karl to lay a new tar and chip drive to the front of our house and the result was a complete makeover. We cannot recommend Karl and all his team highly enough. Great communication from the start and, even when there were minor glitches, in timings and deliveries etc, it was efficiently handled and resolved. Nothing was too much trouble and the team worked extremely hard, in bitterly cold weather, to deliver us a perfect driveway before Christmas. The quality and standard of workmanship, and care, was very impressive and their skill and hard work has transformed the front aspect of our home.
