Hair cut was alright but hairdresser was a bit tough when drying with a paddle brush. My main problem was that I entered and was basically ignored for about 10-15 minutes, the hairdresser was busy so I understood that but there was an assistant standing at the back doing nothing. Just not what I expect from a more up market salon.

Excellent salon. Very experienced hairdressers who listen to what you want and deliver! Plus the products are organic and cruelty free, my hair is in such better condition since I’ve been having it done here! They always leave a conditioner on after a colour as well so your hair is super soft and shiny when you walk out the door! I have never been rushed in and out, they take the time they need to make sure everything is perfect before I leave. Nice friendly relaxed environment, always ready with a cup of tea and an ear to listen. Love it here!

Positive, friendly atmosphere and stylists. Always listen to what I want to and advise on the best way to achieve my hair goals! I have thick , long hair and have struggled to find a stylist that can deal with it, but the hairdressers here are great and know what they are doing. This salon is amazing and I would highly recommend!

This salon is super friendly and relaxing, and the stylists are brilliant. All the products smell wonderful and keep my hair really healthy. I've recommended it to friends who would usually be too anxious to go to a salon and Becky has been really accommodating. It's a joy to visit!

My 2 sisters and I had our hair styled by Becky Brookes for an occasion that we had yesterday, and we couldn't have been happier with the whole service provided. Becky was super friendly and easy to chat to and very helpful when it came to choosing a style as we were all a little unsure of what we wanted! Our hair looked amazing, and each style was different but equally gorgeous! We all got multiple compliments on our hair and I can honestly say it's the best my hair has ever looked! I will definitely be coming back again, thanks Becky :)

I always have a fab time. George has been cut & colouring my hair now for 3 maybe 4 years and I feel great after each appt. Great salon. Cute & cosy vibes. The ladies that work there are brilliant. Thank you so much. My last appt on 6th May was amazing. I feel like a new woman. Xxx

Please avoid this salon for the sake of your hair! I wish someone would have warned me before my hair was ruined.I booked in to have a balayage with Frankie, during my initial consultation frankie explained to me the benefits of their 'High lifts' organic colour and how its gentle enough to lift the hair like bleach without the breakage and damage that bleach causes.She told me I would not need to have my hair cut as there would be no damage to my hair..I was excited to keep my hair healthy and long with minimal damage, who wouldn't want that!?However, here's how it really went...I arrived at my appointment at 4pm and frankie was running late, at 4.30 I was seated and told I would need to have my hair cut even though frankie had said less than a week before that I would not need to have a hair cut, I was a little disappointed but accepted that it would be trimmed; the trim took her just over an hour, was the worst haircut I had ever had and to top it off I had been in the salon for over 2 hours before the dying process even started.She started applying the bleach to my hair before she applied the dark root colour and by the time it was ready to be washed out parts of my hair had been covered in high lifts bleach for almost 3 hours.As soon as my hair had been washed I could tell straight away it was like straw! My hair was breaking off as she tried to brush all the knots out and the colour of my hair looked almost white in places; I was offered no styling and it wasn't even blow dried properly, she just ran her fingers through my hair as she dried it.The end result was chunky, unblended, streaks in my hair, you could even see the banding of brush strokes in several parts. It was the worst attempt at balayage I'd ever seen!!!Before I had even said anything she offered for me to come back for a free deep conditioning mask and told me she wouldn't charge me for the cut.After being in the salon for 6 and a half hours (I left at 10.30pm) I went home and cried my eyes out!!! Even my partner commented on how awful it looked (coming from a man who never notices when I get my hair coloured, that was a big deal!) and one of the first things I did when I got home was put in an overnight hair mask to try and put some moisture back in my hair.I phoned the salon the next morning and asked to speak to the manager who then offered for me to come in the same day; when I arrived the manager refunded me the full amount and offered to fix the mess the previous person had made, HOWEVER.The manager just chucked a brunette colour over the blonde in my hair, no filler colour.After a few washes the bleached parts of my hair started to go green where she had put a brunette colour straight over the blonde streaks in my hair.I am still trying to repair my damaged hair and grow out the breakage, I really hope that leaving this review prevents someone a hair disaster.

If I could give 0 point, I would. Stay away from this place. The hair dye they use might be less harsh and less smelly but the service they provide is dreadful. I went there a couple of weeks ago as I was booked for 10.30am but the hairdresser arrived at 11 and it was a very rainy day and I was only lucky that my husband was with me and I could sit in the car while waiting. Then, I realised that the hairdresser triple booked and while I was sitting there with washed and wet long hair, she was shaving some guy's head. Then she put hair colour on my hair and made me wait while she was highlighting some other lady's hair and this long wait resulted my hair to go from naturally dark brown to Orange and while my head was all wet in the sink she went back to finish the highlight on the same person and I was sitting uncomfortably in the sink for 45 min. My natural hair colour is dark brown and it was almost two years that I did not dye my hair and I just wanted my hair to be chestnut brown to look a bit different and to cover a couple of grey hairs that I recently found but my hair went bright redish Orange and even worse I wasted 4.30 hours of my life in their nasty dirty salon and not only I did not get any apology, she charged me £60 despite the fact that I specifically asked for no blow dry and their website says full hair dye £35 to £45. Also my grey hairs were not covered. I had to get some easy dark brown hair dye from boots to cover the ugly mess she made on my hair. Not professional, very bad service, high price, dirty salon, rip off, dreadful job and very bad hair dye product. Could not be worse really. No ammonia hair dye from boots was easy, cheap, no damage and way better job. Will never go back there again.
