Very efficient book yourself in ,seen within 10 mins

I have no problem with the doctors. They are fantastic and very helpful. However, one or two of the receptionist are another matter. After being really poorly recently, I was given meds but now I have side effects which the doctor told me to phone in if this happened. I just did and the receptionist had no intention of helping me out. I explained I really need to know what I should do but she dug her heels in and said to call in the morning at 8am. Now, that becomes an issue too as its near impossible to get through. By the time you do there are no more appointments. All I needed was some advice about what to do about the meds. I said any doctor would suffice but she was short and irritable with me. Such a shame because like I said the doctors are wonderful.

Never had any problems with the practice and I’ve only had positive experiences with the staff

I have been registered with the surgery for more than a year now. I would like to say a massive thank you to Dr David Morris and Dr Daniel Kelly. They are professional and very experienced plus they are very patient to listen and understand the issue. Even the ladies in reception are very helpful.I would HIGHLY recommend the surgery.

Several of the GPs here are great. However, getting an appointment changed drastically during the Covid lockdown. Getting an appointment now is impossible. The receptionists have appointed themselves as guard dogs and self educated experts. They are hit and miss, get a bad one like Janet and you won’t be able to get any help at all. Totally unsympathetic. It’s a shame the good ones are so few and far between. Ask to speak to the practice manager and you are refused. Medications manager never appears to be there. Really not worth the anxiety of trying to get an appointment. Also annual blood testing considered essential for permanent medications prior to covid has become non existent since.The practice manager needs to get rid of the superiority complex amongst receptionists.

New to the surgery, calling in the morning is difficult as is the case for all doctors surgeries, so used the online PATCHS to send request for appointment. They got back really quickly! Had a call within an hour and got seen that day. Plus staff and the doctor I saw was really nice.

This clinic it's a joke. They send you for a blood test and after for reading blood test have to wait another 1 month , because your case it's not urgent. So if it's not urgent why are you sending me every month for blood tests? Another thing they promise you that they will call you on next day about results and you still waiting and waiting for hours . On the next day when you give them a call and asked what's happening about a call what they did promise their answers was , you wasn't been book at all. BEST PRACTICES EVER""

I find the staff here to be very rude and snippy on the phone. I have quite serious symptoms which need longer appointments and I can never get them, I can't book online, they make it very difficult for me to get medical care. They lied and told me I cant pre book an appointment, then when I told them the doctor explained that I can, they've magically managed to pre booked me an appointment? It's just such a negative interaction every time. I understand they are probablly stressed but its not okay for them to take it out on patients.

My wife and I were briefly registered with the surgery whilst we stayed in Chester over the summer between house moves. registering was a complete shambles. After submitting all the forms .... silence. the only way we found out we had been registered was when our previous GP refused a repeat prescription request. We have now registered with a new GP and have been asked to obtain confirmation of our repeat prescriptions from Northgate. Fat chance - multiple requests completely ignored.

Lovely staff that made me feel comfortable, they really knew what they were doing and got me an appointment earlier than anywhere else. So relieved to be finally sorted out by this great medical centre.
