I took a woodland pigeon to HART wildlife rescue that was injured and couldn’t fly. They took it in without question and said I could call for updates whenever I wanted.

Really caring staff who took in a very small female Hedgehog that we found slumped in the garden during the day. The staff took the time to explain how they were going to treat her and offered us the opportunity to call them for updates on her progress and for us to bring her home to release her when she is well again. Hart Wildlife Rescue do really important work.

What a wonderful resource for injured birds and animals. They checked out an injured blackbird fledgling (cat damage) and if the wing turns out not to be broken, they will medicate it for a week and at the right time, release into the wild with other recovered blackbirds. They offered to let us know the outcome. Many thanks.

My son found a baby bird nearly fledged but needed help. Phoned up and they were very helpful and asked him to bring the bird in straight away which he did ( 23 min car drive)they said it was a baby Robin and put him in an incubator to help him survive. So happy. Wild life needs all the help we can give.

The team at HART wildlife rescue are friendly, devoted and just incredibly hardworking, with lovely staff, volunteers and work experience students. For anyone aspiring for a career involving animals, i absolutely recommend working with HART to gain that crucial experience. They helped an injured slow worm I brought in. These guys look out for all creatures big and small. Their reaction to us bringing him in was amazing as well as they rarely have them come in. God bless everyone of them !

Had a fledgling wood pigeon hit our glass bi-fold door. After a few hours of sitting in our garden without flying off, Hart kindly offered to take it in which was a great relief as we have a lot of cats around. When trying to catch the pigeon, it actually flew off so really hoping it will be ok. Olivia was super helpful and friendly and it is re-assuring that we have somewhere so special to take our injured/sick wildlife. Thank you so much :-)
