Marquee Events

The Swanky Marquee company were absolutely fabulous, we used them for our wedding and the stretch tent looked fantastic! We would highly recommend them, Toni and her team did a brilliant job and were extremely professional and helpful throughout - thankyou.

Subject: Unfortunately we are unable to complete your marquee install and this is your cancellation email.The service from The Swanky Marquees has been terrible. They took over our booking from Marquee Events in July 2021.Since then they've charged us extra for marquee sides as apparently they weren't listed as a specific line item in the original quote. (who would order half a marquee) and Toni threatened to cancel the booking multiple times when I tried to make the point that we understood we were hiring a complete marquee.After much back and forth and extra thousands being added onto the quote we agreed to move forward due to the difficult situation we were in. Swanky Marquees committed to arranging a site visit and apparently committed to ensuring our event would go ahead as planned.Yesterday they cancelled our booking out of the blue, via e-mail with no apology and didn't even have the decency to pick up the phone. I had to call Toni to try and rescue the situation and she appeared to show no remorse for the situation that we've been put in.They will string you along with false promises, threaten with cancellations when they don't get their way, and cancel your booking at short notice. The marquees might look good, but for us they are purely fantasy.

Marquee Events has been fantastic throughout this pandemic. Today would have been my event hosted by Marquee Events, this has now been moved early next year. The company directors Max Johnson & Daniel Greenwood have been amazing in helping me move the event with ease and helping me keep calm throughout this transition. I was lucky enough to attend their open day earlier this year where I couldn’t help but take photographs of how beautiful it looked.

I 100% recommend The Swanky Marquee Company for a wedding Marquee. They did an excellent job of ours in February 2022. After being let down by the original company I booked with (Max at Marquee Events) Toni took our wedding on and her team made it perfect!! James and his team battle thru 2 storms an EXTREMELY muddy field and never complained once whilst putting the marquee up. It looked amazing and I'm so pleased I would definitely recommend Swanky Marquees

Utterly Blown away! We had a vision for our wedding and didn't think it would be possible. We have booked these guys for our wedding next year. They had a great choice of marquees, with unique ideas and could not do enough to help. We cannot wait to get married, and to see it all come together. We were so nervous about how we would achieve what we wanted, but Toni and Ben made it all sound easy and we left the meeting feeling like we were in safe hands. We had contacted other venues and companies but none gave us the personal touch that we were looking for. First wedding and last hopefully! so we want to make sure everything is just perfect. My advice is; don't hesitate, get them booked for your wedding or event as they are getting booked up, our first date was already booked. :)

It made our Wedding day! We ordered it at the last minute in case of rain... turned out to be essential for shade on the hottest day of the year! It looked great during the day but fabulous with the lights in the evening. The company are super-professional and a delight to deal with.Highly recommended.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PEOPLE! Originally called up just to get some prices and my goodness.. All the other companies just sent me a quote but these guys really wanted to understand what my needs were and they tailored the perfect solution for my particular needs. Real Experts! These guys are incredible. I cant wait to see the final result in the summer and i am sure all of our guests will love what The Swanky Marquee Company have tailored for us!THANK YOU AGAIN GUYS!

We can’t thank all the guys at the Swanky marquee company enough. We decided to cancel our originalWedding venue in favour of a more relaxed reception in our garden. I was so apprehensive that it wouldn’t feel special enough, but how wrong was I!! The Marque, lights, seating and dance floor totally transformed the garden. No one could believe what the guys had managed to achieve and my now husband and I were blown away! Nothing was to much trouble and Toni was always on hand to discuss any ideas or options. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and a massive part of that was due to this company. We can’t thank or recommend you guys enough. Thank you for making our day so special! Really excited in light of the good news, to have booked Swanky Marquees for a Summer Garden Party all being well. They were so thorough and took every care to ensure, we were aware of our options in case in the situation changes and we need to postpone. I can't think of a better way to spend time reuniting with loved ones than in an open setting. The brilliant thing that we loved about their tents is that they have completely open sides (with theoption of adding clear sides if we are allowed allowed be enclosed). We don't even have to worry about seating or heating as that is all taken care of! To say we ate excited is an understatement. Just need to work out how best to configure in our garden. With so many options shouldn't be a problem. Fingers crossed for Summer.
