St Seraphim Orthodox Chapel
I only visited because I am interested in disused railway stations, there is also an engine/goods shed here. This church is set in very peaceful surroundings

St Seraphim Orthodox Chapel
Interesting orthodox church made from old railway station with an onion dome with a nice quiet garden along the route of the now removed tracks.

St Seraphim Orthodox Chapel
My wife and I were received into the Orthodox Faith in this chapel in the mid 80s by Fr David Merrick, priest and Abbott of the local Monastery of Seraphim who sadly passed away in 1993. Eternal Remembrance.

St Seraphim Orthodox Chapel
I loved this rather unusual building and it's atmosphere but the children were bored senseless by it.A place for adult visitors. Unfortunately not remotely accessible to the less mobile.

Don't miss this oasis of peace. Check opening times for the garden and for the guide to the icons, but the chapel itself is open for a broad spread of time.
