My daughter went to a Share a Shettie day yesterday with her dad; she had the best time, learned so much about the ponies and enjoyed all the different aspects of caring for them. The staff were so friendly, patient and do such a fantastic job sharing knowledge and educating children and adults alike. A lovely touch, with the certificate at the end too! A day to remember, and hopefully repeat, as she would love to go back! If you get the chance to visit or support this amazing horse sanctuary you won't regret it.

A wonderful setting for the rescue and safe care of horses of all sizes and breeds. The staff are lovers of horses and do everything in their power to care for the horses they rescue. Always hosting events and activities to drum up awareness, education and donations to their cause. I regularly visit to take down donations of horsey kit to help support them whenever I can. They even have some rescued chickens that produce eggs that they sell. Well worth a visit and look at their website to see details of adopting and supporting each of their horses needs.

THESE PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING.a dear friend just diagnosed with cancer with weeks to live in hospice care wanted help with her beloved old horse to find a safe home. These people shouted at her care worker before she could get a word out telling her no they won’t help and it’s not there fault she couldn’t care for it and when you buy a horse it’s for life (ironically) care worker told her she didn’t think the attitude was of people that care for horses and it’s not her that owns the horse to be told they didn’t care.Clearly some huge issues going on at this place. All they wanted was some direction on help abs they got this. WARNING ⛔️

I took a group of 14 to Mane Chance Sanctuary back in the Autumn. Jenny Seagrove gave up a morning to talk to us all and explain the work of the Sanctuary. - we were thrilled to have her talk to us, particularly as she was appearing nightly at the Theatre Royal Windsor. Our group of mainly women from all over the world (we are an International Women's Group) were absolutely spellbound. We loved seeing the ponies and horses in such comfortable surroundings and hearing about the amazing charitable work the Sanctuary does with disabled children, and the elderly. The volunteers speak for the whole charity with their cheerful demeanour and hard work. I cannot recommend this lovely peaceful place more.
