During our recent visit to Scotland we were unsure of our pre-tour activities. So we booked a day tour through Black cab tours and were delighted in our trip with Danny from Edinburgh Tours in a taxi.Our tour was from Edinburgh through the East Neuk and up to St. Andrews. We spent a sunny day experiencing some of the beautiful coastal towns including Elie, Pittenweem and Claire. A side trip to a local market at Bowhouse was a great chance to see some local bakers, dairy products and vineyards. Our last stop at St. Andrews included the University, Castle, Abbey and a quick peek at the Old Course. Danny and his family have spent holidays in the area and he has a great knowledge of the area and a desire to learn more as we passed through these areas.We wholeheartedly recommend Danny and the tours offered through Edinburgh tours in a taxi. Hopefully on our next visit we will avail ourselves to another.
