Mashfords Funeral Service
Mashfords were there as a caring, compassionate, presence when my mum died; sensitive but always able to raise a smile throughout such a difficult time. Joyce and Barry made everything straightforward, and I was happy to put my trust in them to care for mum, and ensure the funeral was what we wished for.As a funeral celebrant myself, I also get to see the other side of the sector, and it is my pleasure, when they or a family request me, to work with qualified professionals who expect the best. After the recent passing of my Mum, several people recommended Mashfords Funeral Services to me and I’m very pleased that they did. Jenna was fantastic from day 1, very compassionate with her approach, helping and advising me on the various elements of the funeral process. Her communication was excellent, either calling or emailing to keep me updated on arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble. They eased the burden throughout what is a very difficult period of time and I’m truly grateful to Jenna and the rest of the Mashfords team.

Myself and my family dealt with Mashfords recently for the funeral of my father. Their replies were so speedy and nothing was too much for them! Lee was so lovely and caring, he would reply to my emails very quickly as well. We chose Laura to conduct the service and she was incredible. It’s almost like she knew my father personally. She was very kind and patient with us and went the extra mile for instance, I wrote a speech to say at the funeral and she printed me my own copy as my printer wasn’t working. She gave me brilliant advice for the day for reading it as well. Such a brilliant company - 100% pick them for your funeral needs.

It is an overwhelming experience during a very difficult time when you are choosing a funeral director for your loved one. For those in any doubt in the Grimsby/Cleethorpes area I urge you to go with Mashfords. The whole team is wonderful and look after you every step of the way. We used Mashfords to take care of my Dad after his passing. From the moment he was in his care we felt a sense of relief that he was resting peacefully and being well attended to.Throughout all the planning we was looked after by Lee who is an absolute credit to Mashfords. He took care of all arrangements and kept us up to date with everything. Having never had to arrange a funeral before and never thinking I would have to arrange my husbands at such a young age, I have to say Mashfords were amazing. From start to finish they were there to help and support with anything I needed. They explained how everything worked and put me in touch with the celebrant who would carry out the funeral service.
