My son attends Aurora and has been for the last year & a half. I can't express how impressed I am with the school and how they have changed is life for the better. He started the school, depressed, anxious & lonely. With the ongoing support he has had, it has allowed him to be himself and he is now in a place where his future looks bright. The staff are outstanding and they know exactly how to support each and every child. I am truly grateful for the difference they have made for my son.

Horrible corporate school ran by an energy company. (Says it all)that ask inappropriate questions Infront of an autistic child. Did nothing but brag about what a fantastic school they were. Diagnosed a child with several disorders which clearly they had not got. Didn't know they were camhs!

My son has attended Aurora Hanley school for 2 years now and all I have for the school is praise. The staff are very warm and nurturing and have created an environment that reflects that. He is not only learning what is on the national curriculum he is learning valuable life and independence skills too. He has made new friends and is very happy to attend school everyday since attending. Every child is unique and the teachers at Aurora understand this and work with each child to their own abilities and go above and beyond to ensure all of their needs are met. The first time I took my son for a visit I noticed that every single member of staff was smiling and relaxed which was very reassuring. He is so happy and settled at school and his mental well-being has made a complete turnaround as he had been let down by former schools he has attended and was stressed and sad every single day. I thank the school at every opportunity because I think they are amazing, I don’t worry about him at all while he is there during the day because I know he is in the best possible school for him and they are so supportive to parents too. I highly recommend Aurora to anybody who asks me. I literally cannot find one fault at all.
