Worst solicitors going. (financial conduct authority involved, read on)We were misled and recommend them by our estate agent which we later found out was for commissionand as first time buyers we knew no better.We had ZERO communication from cavendish through the entire process. We were left hanging for months on end delaying our purchase. Slow in processing basic documents, phone was never answered, voice mail full (that says alot). We instructed them via many different ways to end the contact with them but then continued harrasing us for documents and payment. in the end I got a call from the financial conduct authority about cavendish legal as our dealings with them were being investigated. In the end cavendish were instructed to pay back all of our money. We were very lucky to escape, you may not be. Avoid this company at all costs.

I’ve used cavendish group to facilitate several purchases and sales in the past to much satisfaction. Unfortunately This time around it has been a completely different story. 2 x missed exchange dates due to them forgetting, ignored emails, having to repeatedly send the same paperwork over and over again-even hand delivering some items so they couldn’t say it hasn’t been sent and they still asked for it again. It seems they are short staffed and very disorganised. Avoid this company or prepare yourself for a whole lot of extra stress and worry during your sale or purchase.

This practice is absolutely the worst conveyancing solictors' firm I have ever come across. My property was sold (completion was two and half years ago) and was very straight forward, however the buyer's solicitor (Ms Nobrega) clearly does not have the competence or ability to carry out the formalities with a leasehold landlord. My name is still listed as the property owner, and the simple administrative process for assigning the new owner is clearly too much for her. Her attitude is a disgrace and despite my following the formal complaints procedure they just can't get it right. I could do a better job myself. My credit rating is now ruined and I have court cases pending, yet I am not the legal owner of the property - all because this firm is way too unprofessional. AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS.

I have used Cavendish Legal Group for property conveyancing three times now. Twice with Joanna Hayes and once with Goldie Evelyn. I have been very happy with the professional service and attention to detail coupled with reasonably pricing. In the latest property sale Goldie was very helpful pushing the deal through against some time pressure and chased other parties hard when needed. I have no hesitation in recommended Cavendish based on my personal experience. Thanks for the great service.

Avoid them at all costs!I hired their services as part to buy a new building property between 2020 and 2021. Karishma Patel was very helpful in the beginning and very supportive too. Until all the fee were paid.After that she would rarely reply the emails. We then started to have problems with the building, and we were legally advised to contact her and talk about the issues with the purchase.Her reply was they basically haven't anything to do with the case anymore.Strange is, everywhere I call to hire someone else to help with the issues, they all say that Cavendish should be able to help because they have the history of the purchase. No, nobody else is taking the case because it came from this company.

I have dealt with Joanna Hayes at Cavendish Legal Group for many years with property transactions most of which from my side have not been straight forward.However it was always a pleasure to deal with Joanna, who always managed to deal with these in a most professional way. Avoid at all costs.I was assigned this firm via Countrywide UK to conduct conveyancing on sale of my property.Lauren Cosgrove was the conveyancer assigned. After 5 weeks of trying to get answers to questions, I finally sacked her off the case today.They also tried to inflate the cost by over £500 compared with estimate given by Countrywide, but they won't explain why.No communication, disorganised, and absolutely no accountability or level of serviceto their 'client'. As I say, avoid at all costs.

Awful solicitors. Completely unresponsive, never returned calls when you asked for the person looking after your case. Sent wrong / duplicate forms on multiple occasions which caused delays on my help to buy application. Somehow managed to send all of my house deposit money to a completely random personal account of someone nothing to do with my house purchase… and didn’t bother to tell me until my estate agent told them they probably should let me know. I would never touch this company again and would advise people to avoid at all costs!

We had our sale passed on to this firm from our conveyancing firm as they themselves were too busy". CLG were completely hopeless - didn't respond to emails or via chat when queries raised (one was raised 4 times without response)
