Faversham Market
Great little market. The plant stall is fantastic with a great selection of plants and bulbs and reasonably priced and really helpful and friendly owner. Well worth the visit.

I visited the Faversham Antiques Market today, which is held on the first Sunday of the month. Lots of stalls with well presented stock. A better market than for some months (I go most months). If you visit, don't forget to go upstairs in the Guildhall in the Market Square as you will find more dealers there. Walk round Faversham, too. There are other antiques shops nearby well worth visiting. There are also plenty of places to get something to eat and drink if you want to interrupt your browsing.

Faversham Market
Busy little town with several smaller sized shops and plenty of pubs and cafes. Faversham holds different markets in the centre of town. Tues, Fri and Sat for general stalls and an antique market on the first Sunday of the month. There is the popular Open Gardens event in June, Hop Festival in September and Christmas Market in December ( plenty of stalls at all of these events). We enjoyed seeing the beautiful old buildings and walking along the creekside.

Faversham Market
Nice little place for a couple of hours, didn't think there were as many market stalls as I was hoping for. Few nice little independent shops and restaurants .

Lovely little Christmas market through the town, much less crowded than Canterbury. Definitely worth visiting again on a warmer day.

Faversham Market
Picturesque market square in historic Faversham. Difficult not to like this – it has the little covered market in the middle, cobbled streets, pretty little shops around the outside. A couple of cafes and a pub (with others mere minutes away). Visited on this occasion for the Hop Festival so full of the people carrying their cups of beer and cider. Normally a bit quieter but generally has a some bustle about it.There used to be a few banks dotted around. All of those have now closed. The world turns, the era of cash draws to a close. Such is the way of things.Definitely worth a visit. Much better in the summer, as these sort of things generally area.

All 5 stars a for the baker stall at the end of the market. Lush spinach and ricotta rolls, tasty cream cakes and banging vegetable samosa

If you're on the tourist trail in Kent, you probably have Canterbury and Dover on your itinerary and little else. I recommend Faversham (on the A2 or the railway line on your way down to the aforementioned places). The market is held on Fridays and Saturdays, showcasing local produce. But come for the town itself with its well-preserved medieval centre.

A handful of selected stalls in this market but the location/setting is very old English country village. Surrounded by old style shops/buildings with some good artisan bakery stalls. There's a few cafes which when the sun is out is nice to sit outside. One of them did do a great apple pie..not too sweet with a decent pastry, they also did a vegan sausage roll If that helps identifying it..oh and have some cash in hand as not all stalls take cards etc..

It was raining whole day! We did go through the market to get to the Town Hall to see the original Magna Carta and some other original medieval charterers issued to the town Faversham. Many food stalls and flower stalls were in the market. There is a bit of a wall still remaining from the original pharmacy built in 1200s!
