The Jiggers Scottish Ceilidh Band

We were absolutely thrilled with the jiggers for providing our wedding Ceilidh and disco in April 2023.It was very easy to book online and choose the size of the band and the playlist for the disco.On our wedding day we had an absolute blast with the Ceilidh everyone joined in and danced until they were knackered and also the same with disco. There connection with us was brilliant and we had a great laugh with them and the choice of the music for the disco was excellent as well. We had The Jiggers play at our wedding reception and it was the best choice we could have made - having the ceilidh band and DJ all in one package made things so straightforward and we didn’t have to worry about a thing all day. The band were amazing and so friendly, they weren’t reluctant to interact with our guests and the dancefloor was never empty. Highly highly recommend!! Thanks guys!

We had a fantastic experience hiring The Jiggers at our wedding. They were incredibly professional, fantastic performers and helped make the evening enjoyable for dancers of all abilities. We went for the 3-piece band and subsequent DJ, which helped suit everyone's preferences. We only wish there had been more time left for more dancing!

The Jiggers went out of their way to make our day as special as could be - even starting with a waltz so I could 'dance' with my Grandad who couldn't travel to be with us.They vibed off of the energy in the room and the floor was never empty! Our guests enjoyed the expansion of dances to the less common ones (so all the more fun) too.Our hour of disco at the end, with Loch Lomond, sealed it all off perfectly! Cannot recommend highly enough!

We booked the Jiggers for our Wedding in Aberdeenshire in November 2022 and are so pleased that we did! We had the four piece band which was the perfect size for a lively, packed dance floor and a DJ for the last couple of hours. The band were super friendly, very responsive to emails on the lead up to the day and most importantly their music was fantastic!

We hired the 3 piece ceilidh band from the jiggers for our recent wedding. The music was great and they introduced each dance for guests to follow. We had a fab night and a lot of our guests commented on how good and lively the ceilidh was, highly recommend!

The Jiggers played our wedding last night, and were phenomenal. They played us our first dance, led a 2 hour ceilidh, and then Dougie DJ'd the rest of the night for us. Our guests loved the ceilidh dancing and the band's energy all night. It was a privilege to have these guys play, and they'll be a huge part of our memories of the day. Can't recommend them enough!

From first contact the band and their team were wonderful.They gave advice, supported and carried out all our requests both before and during our wedding. They were responsive to email and generally lovely.We had a 3 piece ceilidh band for 1.5 hours of our wedding then a disco for the remainder of the evening and all our guests absolutely loved it and had a great timethank you so much to the Jiggers!

We were really happy with all the music that The Jiggers provided at our wedding a few weeks ago - the piper, the band and DJ were all excellent!The band and music were brilliant and the Caller did a great job of running through the moves and getting people dancing. Everyone really enjoyed it, particularly many of our guests from other countries who had never been to a ceilidh before (even though many of us were quite unruly dancers!) The piper was was great when piping us into the dining room and getting involved in the pictures with guests, and Dougie was very flexible in making sure that we got all the music that we wanted played in the DJ section.The booking process was also very easy and Greg and Veronica were attentive in responding to queries and making sure that all was set up to go smoothly on the day.We wouldn't hesitate in recommending!
