We are situated close to the historic market town of Ormskirk with nearby motorway links and just a few miles inland from the famous Southport Golf Coast including Royal Birkdale. Set in 125 acres of mature, picturesque parkland, Ormskirk Golf Club offers a challenging yet relaxing round of golf to players of all ages and abilities. The course measures 6533yds and, with its wide tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkers and superb greens, your enjoyment is guaranteed. Designed originally by Harold Hilton, the course has been used for Open regional qualifying, County matches and many corporate, charity and social events.

You have to keep the ball on the fairway as the rough is unforgiving. Good set up with good greens. Clubhouse offers everything you want with friendly service

Tremendous course. Vastly underestimated in my opinion. The staff were very polite and professional. Loved it and I will be back to play again. Its a hidden jem.

Ormskirk Golf Club is a terrific course and it includes everything you need for a great day's golfing. The course is beautifully presented and the greens are sublime. The staff are pleasant and helpful in the club house which serves great food. The course is challenging to play, easy to walk I would highly recommend

Excellent golf course, always a pleasure to play here. Fabulous landscape, trees, fairways, and greens, we very much look forward to our annual trip. Nice welcoming club house. And the weather stayed fine!

Excellent course and facilities, warm welcome from the professional. Good food in the clubhouse. Very helpful office staff when booking, but bar staff were not as friendly on the day. Overall a good visit.

From the minute we arrived we were made too feel very welcome, the warm atmoshere and comfortable clubhouse was a pleasure to have a bite to eat in before play. The course was an absolute joy to play, the conditions were immaculate, greens outstanding the whole ambience was second to none. We will definitely be booking to play again at Ormskirk G.C. in the near future.

Ormskirk Golf Club
Liverpool Local Government Officers G.S visited last Friday and we all had a magnificent day. Course was immaculate and everyone in the clubhouse coutdo enough for us. Special mention to the pro who accommodated my many alterations to our numbers without any fuss or bother, superb. 100% will return.
