Renault Birmingham - Service Only

Booked a 24 hour test drive them when I called to confirm that I was on my way to the dealership to collect the car, I was told oh thought your were no longer interested so booked it out to another customer" No phone call

Still have rust on a car less than a year old.Rather than acknowledge an installation flaw, i.e. material not fit for purpose, and would cost them nothing to rectify, they ignore and fail to answer logical technical questions.You would think a major manufacturer would thank you for highlighting a rust issue.Rust still there and growing.

I would never use this dealership again. I purchased a Renault Megane convertible in April last year for £7000, I have since found out I am pregnant and returned to them to discuss a part exchange 10 months later, they offered me £4000 - their excuse was that they no longer sell cars with over 45k miles on the clock (I purchased it with 64k and returned with 68k.) I have just looked on auto trader and guess what they have a 57 plate car with 60k miles selling for 7K - I am disgusted that they lied to me and that they felt it appropriate to offer such a shoddy service. Be prepared to be misled.

They had my Zoe in for 5 months for warranty work and could not repair the telematics fault!I gave up in the end and part-exed it for another Zoe has I could not sell the car outside of Renault because of the battery lease. No one wanted it :(

Worst dealership in Birmingham! I will never be buying a Renault again. Had a two year warrantee with this dealership within that two years the car went to the dealership 6 to 7 times for the same problem and a few others. After the warrantee finished the dealership refused to fix the problem without me paying for it not only that they said to fix it they need to change the door card as it was leaking into the side pocket... The question arises if they knew what the problem was why didn't they fix it when under warrantee! If your thinking about buying a Renault, DONT!!!! Your better off buying a SKODA which is a lot better car and has good value for money... If you still want to buy a Renault DO NOT BUY ONE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! Bunch of comidans run the place!

Been buying cars from here for past 5 years. However it has gone down hill in my opinion as there doesn't seem to be enough staff and since my usual sales contact has left i am made to feel more of a hindrance.Also took one of my cars in for a service and bluetooth niggle but when collecting the vehicle the bluetooth stopped working altogether despite the job sheet stating it had been fixed. Also the service had resulted in a whole manner of failures suchas thick black smoke from exhaust, excessive fuel use (full tank depleted within 50 miles), engine management fault. I broke down, RAC attended and upon investigation he found spark plugs to be black with soot, engine to be over fuelling, a cylinder seized and air getting into the engine.After 7 phone calls and much stress the dealership actually accepted the car as originally they stated they couldn't book me in for a month to fix a fault that was as a result of the service they had carried out.I am awaiting the result of the inspection of my 65 plate car to identify if it is scrap or can be fixed.Dont go here, go to Renault Solihull and deal with Tony McGarva.

Had car serviced on the 01 07 2015 was told that it also includes a vac and wash....went to collect at 1pm..NO VAC OR WASH...passenger side mats was covered in tree leaves...was given my keys/service book....AND SOMEONE ELSES WHEEL LOCKING NUT.....i had to wait around while they located my own wheel lock nut..i was told the service man left it on the seat to which it must have fell on the floor when test driving up hill....THERE IS NO WAY ON EARTH WILL I EVER BUY A CAR OR USE THEIR SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGAIN....i have given this service a 1 star as i cant give it a 0 star and even that would be to high.......FUTURE BUYERS..DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.....THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY...BELIEVE ME...im so glad my 2 year service plan has finished..i can go to a more professional retailers.........THEN WHEN I PHONED THE SERVICE MAN TO SEE HOW MUCH MY AIR CON RE-GAS AND BREAKS WOULD COST........£400....AND I DIDNT EVEN NEED NEW BRAKE SHOES.....I JUST HAD WORN BRAKE PADS......i phoned a smaller garage..i was priced......£87.....RENAULT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT OFFER YOU SO LITTLE BACK"

Spoke to a money grabbing lady EMMA. Asked her if she could price match with Arnold Clark Renault on the Megane Tropy 275(£3000 cheaper). She said she would get back to me but didn't even bother responding. Would not recommend this Con of a dealership to anyone! Giving it a one star as i can not give zero. Total money GRABBERS. If i was the owner of this Renault Dealership i would be firing alot of the employees!

The best Motability consultant I have ever dealt with Kept me informed throughout the factory order & other processes. always returned calls if messages left, went above & beyond to make sure I received my car as soon as I could, perfect from start to finish thanks Andy Fern
