Poundland

Decent place to get things for cheap, they wrote fine and congested but now after renovation they look bright and nice. They have increased their clothing range than before.

The shop is nice and tidy. In the past they used to sell more Frozen goods and had better deals. Have a dedicated corner for clothing. Usually only one till open ( out of 3 or 4).

Had some issues with card usage, but got fixed and managed to get what I was after. Considering the size of the store, they have quite the selection. Staff friendly enough. Prices reasonable. Think I'll pop in there again sometime. Recommended!

I've visited many Poundland in the United Kingdom, but the one in Peterborough is lovely and in some ways more advanced than the regular Poundland stores. For example, they have matched the stereotypical shop by offering more refrigerated goods, which is appreciated.Walking into the store, there are many things on offer, and they even have a section for clothes too, but I just wished they accommodated the bigger-sized customers instead of assuming everyone is thin.I've always had a positive experience here, and the self-checkouts work fine; there's always a member of staff by the checkouts to assist you with any issues, but it's a struggle to find a member of the team in the aisles to help you find what you're looking for.As for the price, it does get annoying when a shop is meant to be £1, but it's more of a lottery pick finding things for a pound because most of them are one pound something, defeating the purposes.

Discriminates against the disabled. Wanted to buy a multi pack of crisps amongst other items. £1.75 for a pack or two packs for £3. I only wanted to buy one pack, so why should I pay more because I don't want two packs. I'm partially sighted and so limited to what I can carry as travel on the bus etc. So didn't buy anything and bought elsewhere.

Now they moved and extended the shop, that's a good thing, with more space for much more products. Food, snacks, drinks, clothing, and some electrical devices.Good quality for lower prices, probably the cheapest in the UK. Great job, guys.

As the title claims, poundland, what the title omits to add, where everything is at least a pound or more!! Keep a check as it goes through the till as some of the prices change, little 25p here a £1 there, soon adds up, and the ones with no price on just go through at whatever.

Hate this shop. Unfriendly staff who insist you use the self service tills.
