I went last week for the time since the refurb... What a difference!!! The staff, food, atmosphere was outstanding. Was greeted by the lovely Sandra (who has worked there a While) and was then served by a bartender named Ray, who was very polite, pleasant, smart and with a constant smile on his face. I enjoyed it that much I have been back today and would give it 5 star again. Very impressed.

I hired out my soft play for a customer at this venue.The manager and staff were very helpful, they respected our items and were very flexible with collection times.We also had breakfast the next day which was really good.Thanks again, Party Shack Ltd

Was a bit disappointed when we got there as both the meals that we wanted had been taken off the menu.We both had the carvery and what a pleasant surprise.Beef was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were lovely not the usual mush they serve up at carverys.Staff were lovely too and a nice clean table was ready for us as soon as we got there.Will look forward to the next time we visit .

Absolutely brilliant service, foods good and cheap as chips.The young girl Terri is amazing! She built my son a 'special' ice cream and even took the time to bring it herself . GIVE THIS GIRL KUDOS AND A PAY RISE!!!

Good value food, as you would expect for this type of pub / restaurant. I feel compelled to write a review for the Bee Hive however due to the exceptional customer service. Friendly, efficient and welcoming! Will definitely return next time I’m working in the area.

Call prior to your visit.Avoid football crowds, quiz night, and other events.We visited on a Monday evening and thought that it would be quite ish.On that night, Bolton was playing, but also, they had a quiz night.It was extremely noisy.We had to meet a person who travelled 2.5 hours from down south, and we see her every other month.The only place they had available for us was under the TV. The quiz began, but also Bolton's match.We got surrounded by football fans.The TV was loud, and also the quiz.I had to ask for the manager 3 times to lower the TV, which she actually did.The food was awful.McDonalds has more to big Mac than the plain burger we had for the same price for about a tenner, or even more. The whole atmosphere was terrible, very average service, and awful food. Overall, it ruined our evening.

Lively pub, perhaps because Bolton football team were playing and showing on the tv. Had a good meal, friendly and helpful staff. All in a good experience and I would be happy to come back again.

The staff here are so friendly, helpful and funny. They make the atmosphere nice to be in. I was a solo diner but didn't feel it. Naimi at the bar was just the right mix for bar management. Friendly, interesting and efficient. My food was very tasty. I will have to come back to the Carvery.

The service behind the bar was exactly what you would expect from a Greene King pub. It was friendly, warm and welcoming. The young bartender that served me was called Samuel was polite throughout our visit and had lots of patience while I went back and forth to relay what drinks were in stock. It was a shame that the the non alcoholic range was virtually out of stock out of the 6 options only 2 bottled beers were available. I was informed that there would be a wait for food due to having some large tables in, which I was happy to wait and happy to be informed as the wait was quite long. The starters that came out were nice and enjoyable. However the mains were not as good. I ordered 1 gammon and 2 sirloin steaks med/rare, however the steaks were quite fatty and were cooked so well done. This led to the flavour to be more charred grill rather than steak. However due to the exceptional service and the fact my 10 month old Daughter was getting tired as it was quite a wait for the food we ate up and paid. I will revisit this Greene king again, however I would recommend avoiding the steaks.

Visited for the first time yesterday.It's a big place and it was really busy.Raymond had his work cut out for him poor guy, one till open to order food,and he was the guy taking the order's. When I was in the cue to order three people before me and about six joined after me, the app to order from was useless according to customer's in the cue. Then when we were all placing our orders we were told 30-40 minutes wait for food. On a Saturday in a busy place how is this possible? More staff needed maybe?Has for the food some items that we wanted to order they didn't have.The gammon on the mixed grill was more like bacon..but apart from that, the food was good.Raymond you need a medal mate, you dealt with everything that was thrown at you like a champ. I was glad some of the bar staff finally started to help by making drinks for some customers as at one point you were doing everything yourself.
