Really upset from my last couple of visits to this Sainsburys. This afternoon I went to buy drinks and have been told multiple times that they cant ask you to remove your mask when asking for Id. The last 2 times I have gone I have been asked by an America man with black hair (sorry I didn't get his name) to remove my mask when I have said no I dont feel comfortable he had threatened to not sell me my shopping. He was unapologetic and quite aggressive after explaining I didn't feel comfortable. This is a very anxious time for all of us and while I understand the position he is in and all the staff at sainsburys I'm also trying my best to follow the rules and not spread the virus. I have been left very triggered and very anxious. Please make it clear what the rules are about the masks. Because some people are allowed to come in with no mask and not being held accountable.

Awful service. The man who is middle age wearing glass , 5’3 height . I never see that bad service. When I went to the cashier , he provide rude service and always just flow the product on the desk and full of bad servicing. I don’t trust myself , so I did twice buying and got the same experience. May be he really not care the job and attitude.

A wee Sainsbury's local. Can meet your basic needs, but the selection is relatively scarce.

This experience was just not it, I'm a very unsatisfied. Their Sandwich and snacks section was not good at all their selection was awful! If I was to come back I would throw a tantrum and have an emotional break down. I asked for a fork to eat my dry fruit salad which you couldn't even call a salad it was so bad and overpriced, I was given a spoon, I am absolutely raging. If I had to recommend this to a friend I would recommend them to starve! I wish I could rate this place a 0 but I have to rate it a 1. xoxo

Very rude staff! Refused to serve my friend although she had her ID, but because I was with her and only had uni ID (which states my DOB) they rudely rejected her. Not only was the item not for me however whilst I was trying to prove that I was clearly of age he made a disturbing comment that he got married at 15. The behavioural of this staff is honestly unacceptable and wouldn’t expect it anywhere else!!

I live next to this sainsbury and I go there everyday. Today I was chased by one of the ladies who works there, she was “touching” items near me many times, I suffer from anxiety and depression and I felt extremely overwhelmed afterwards, I will go back today and see if she does the same, is it because I was wearing hippie joggers? What a joke. I will never go back there even though is literally next to my flat.

Getting fed up with this store not having any eggs.Every time I have gone in there in the last few weeks there has been none. It feels like they've decided to longer stock them!

Depends what staff are on duty as to whether the customer service is good or not. Lately it's been not bad. Although, I boycotted (for over 12 months) this Sainsbury's branch and one other larger branch. Both of which I still try to avoid going to, but more so the other branch. I've started going back in here. The overall selection is poor. The milk dates and availability could be better.Since I've not been in for so long a lot of the staff have changed. It could well be under a new manager? As I see an improvement.I do feel that the layout for self service and the kiosk queues are very confusing. Considering there are a lot of foreign customers in this branch is doesn't help. It causes queues at the kiosk to become unnecessarily lengthy. Several customer's with 1 or 2 item's and no need to buy cigarettes so would be better using the self service facilitates. Especially as I frequently see none of the self service stations in use. I am certain there's a more efficient way to make the queuing system clear. Due to the store being so small and busy at times the queue can become long very quickly.I've found on numerous occasions in this Sainsbury's, the pricing does not match what I have been charged. Always check your receipt as frustratingly for a significant period of time the prices were not what was getting charged. This has happened in here numerous times. Again it's improved this hasn't happened for a few months now.I advise you take I.D. even in your late 30s there's a chance you'll get asked for identification. I think they are over cautious with asking for I.D as it's so close to a high school. I feel it's ridiculous some people I've witnessed them ask for I.D. there'should purchasing alcohol or cigarettes when there's no denying they are over 25! Let alone 18 years old. Better to be safe than sorry though. I generally don't get asked for I.D often, but in here, just be prepared.
