Black Butterfly Tailoring

Me and my brother went to Black Butterfly tailoring at the start of October to get a suit made for a wedding at the start of November. Milan and Yani were incredibly helpful and managed to turn around 2 bespoke suits in less than a month. We are very chuffed with the final product and couldn’t recommend Black Butterfly enough. Many thanks once again!

I went to Black Butterfly Tailoring a few months ago to have a dinner jacket altered. when I came in the shop was clean and tidy, as well as being received well by the staff. I didn't know what needed doing to the suit when i came in and so they helped me on what was needed, including where to get a good pair of shoes for the event. The dinner jacket came out perfect for the event

I came to Black Butterfly in march of this year on the back of a recommendation from my sister who had her wedding dress altered. From beginning to end the service I've received from the couple running the shop has been excellent. They've been attentive and considerate and all together the final product of a three-piece suit for my wedding is more than I could've imagined at the start. Thank you again to Milan and Yani.

Has been serviced more than once. I really liked the service Nice people. There is a light and magical energy in the salon My friend recommended it to me After the first acquaintance, I wanted to come back here again and again I am a very critical and demanding person. And I like everything to be perfect. I was very worried that the fabric would not be ruined. But after meeting me, I was confident and calm. My outfit was in good hands. I would also like to note the interior. Since I am also a designer. But of a different direction. The style and decoration of the interior are made in excellent colors, and the furniture is in a royal style. Being in the salon, you can feel like a queen.I recommend!!!!

We recently did a large order of tailoring for our wedding (this comprised of 4 bridesmaid dresses, 8 3-piece suits, 2 flower girl dresses and 1 page boy suit). The quality of the tailoring for all bar the page boy suit was perfect, the work itself we cannot fault. However the way the business was run sadly wasn’t a positive experience for us. There were several issues we had including travelling to the store (which is an hour round trip from my home) to collect the dresses to be told they weren’t ready even though it was a date we agreed. Another being We brought in our page boy for his measurements and we did think the waist wasn’t pinned in place properly but we were assured it was at the time. When the tailoring had been done I took the suit home to find it was practically the same as before. They did rectify complimentary but this was an additional trip I had to make a day before my wedding abe unnecessary stress. Overall the work they do is very good but they’re very unorganised and it really made it quite stressful.

Absolutely wonderful service by the most loveliest people. They came to the University of Nottingham and offered free tailoring and adjustments for students during an event and were very friendly and approachable for advice. My jeans were ruined but they managed to salvage them perfectly. I will be considering them when I will have more tailoring needs from now on.

I had to have a kilt alteration as I needed to have it let out as my waist had expanded a little having first worn it in 1989. It was the only place in Nottingham I could find and recommended to me by Slaters. Fantastic service, very friendly and really wanted to help. The alteration is just perfect and I can now wear the kilt comfortably to my sons wedding having worn it to mine 34 years ago. Thank you so much.

I was recommended Black Butterfly to fix the zip and elastic in my puffa coat and they did not disappoint! They warned me that I may have to get a new zip but did their best to make it as cheap as possible for me and were able to fix just the puller. Lovely family business and everything was done quickly and to a very high quality without a high price! 10/10
