What a good experience , taking my autistic son who is non verbal for trouser fitting. Lady spent a lot of time with us treating him with care and dignity will definitely take him back their again.

I had my wedding dress altered here. The facilities were disappointing on arrival- the changing room is just a curtain in the corner of the room and once opened you are on full display to the street outside the shop window. As I had my wedding dress on I did not feel comfortable with this as it should be quite a private moment until the big day! They didn't seem to have any respect for this either, ie they wouldn't assess the alterations behind the curtain.The majority of the ladies were friendly, however I felt the lady tasked with my dress was rude and ignorant and she made me feel like she wasn't interested at all. Everytime I asked a question or made a suggestion she would pull a face and make an arrogant remark. Often when making a suggestion regarding the alterations she would say 'I don't know what you mean' yet the other ladies knew straight away what I was referring to she just made me feel very self conscious. I gave 2 stars because despite the above, some of the alterations were good (they had added buttons to a delicate lace) however there were other aspects of the alterations I weren't happy with (neckline adjustment) and despite me saying no once already and this been redone, after this the other ladies asked if I was now happy with the job but I did not feel comfortable saying no again as the lady tasked with my dress did not seem interested at all in doing a good job and did not seem happy about redoing it. As a result I have taken my dress elsewhere for a second opinion. I'm sure they would be good making adjustments to everyday clothing but I would not go there again for 'special occasion' wear.

This small sewing and tailors shop is a hidden gem! Called in to see if they could fit in the sewing of a badge onto my dogs harness which was quite thick material.Did the job no problems at all, though the nice lady did say she had to do part of it by hand as the machine didn’t like it.Excellent service, lovely staff and very reasonably priced. I would urge you to tip the staff if you’re happy with the service so they can add to their biscuit fund!Based on my experience I would highly recommend this establishment and it’s staff; first class in all respects.

Forever grateful to the incredible Lynn who worked wonders literally remaking this dress that I wore to the National Television Awards. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my alterations & dry cleaning. Very knowledgeable, skilled & friendly ladies.

what a wonderful place I went in and there was four ladies working so hard and so fast and so busy that the inside windows were steaming up. I entrusted them with my very most favourite shirt and they said they would be able to mend itlooking forward to having it back and I'm a little chili right now without it.

Disgusting took a pair of JEANS in to have leg length altered and expected them to look like Jean's at the bottom, they were just hemmed ,I was charged £13 and had to wait 3 weeks ,pitiful and the ladies attitude when I took them in was woeful ,deffo didnt attend customer service class ,avoid like the plague

Excellent, speedy service. I took in a waistcoat for repair which was awkward and required lining to be removed to complete. This was completed in two days and the staff kindly took the waistcoat to the dry cleaners nearby for me also. Would absolutely recommend for a great price.

My wife had an expensive dress bought as a Christmas gift but it was far too long. We took it to Christine's and they shortened it. It was an awkward stretchy material but they did an excellent job BY HAND. we can't see any stitching at all. We would thoroughly recommend Christine's for their excellent work and friendly manner.Thank you.

Very friendly staff but really expensive, more so than central Leeds.
