LET DOWN AND NOT RELIABLE!!Booked a night prior for a family visit only to have the taxi not turn up, didnt even have the decency to call and let us know that there were no drivers to do the run, even though we booked it the night before and was told the drivers phone was off" ruined everyone's day and caused alot of disappointment WOULD DEFINETLY NOT RECOMMEND!!!"

NOT RELIABLE. 23 June 2021. The journey in Llanrug was only about one mile but as it was very wet and along a busy, no-pavement stretch of the A4086, a taxi seemed the best option. On the outward journey we were charged £10 ‘as I’ve had to come from Caernarfon’ (4 miles). We needed a return trip and the driver offered to book it before we got out. He agreed with Carwyn at the other end on 9.25 pm. We came out at 9.20. No cab at 9.25, called the office at 9.30 and got the message that no one was available to take the call. Waited another 5 minutes and walked the short distance back. Fortunately, we are both able and were wearing waterproofs and sensible shoes. Evidently, you cannot rely on Huw’s Taxis so if you can’t walk far for any reason you may wish to try another company.

Requested taxi - said would be with us in 20 minutes - after 30 minutes we called and was told to would arrive in 10 minutes. After a total of an hour, we called to cancel. We then, called another local taxi (Rob's Taxis) who arrived within 5 minutes.
