Read the one star reviews first! Repair wise this garage is not fit. At first quite prompt and seemed keen for the work. After 4 weeks of 0 contact I started to lose faith. When eventually they contacted me back they said my problems had been resolved. Another 4 weeks later in reality they hadn't fixed anything and they just didn't want to do the work I was at first reassured would be done. Friendly staff but poor communication and performance. Would never use again.

I broke down (clutch) and had my car towed to South Street. Scott answered the phone and sorted things out as quickly as possible. Customer service was excellent, the car came back in perfect condition, and the price was reasonable. Comms were excellent and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

I have taken my car for services and maintenance for over 2 years after being recommended by a friend who lives locally. I can honestly say the team at South Street lead and managed by John and fronted by Andy are genuinely brilliant guys. The team provide an honest quality service with sincere advice. I had my car unfortunately written off and the guys couldn't do enough to assist me in my emergency. Thank you to all at South Street Motors!

Perfect Service!!We all experience it don't we. Everyday of our lives we interact with all types of businesses and generally the experience we have ranges from the average down to the outright awful. Here in Wellington there is a company that bucks the trend.... South Street Motors. We have been taking our cars there regularly for services, MOT's etc. for the last 3 years and always get that buzz that one gets when you and your car have been dealt with properly. When you need help with your car immediately the team always respond in just the way you want them to by either fixing the problem there and then or always find you a car to borrow. John Adams, the Manager, shows great empathy. Him and his team of engineers are amazing!!!..... and we should know. We own a business that trains out leadership, customer service skills etc so are highly 'tuned' to what great service should really be.John & Carol Carpenterl

Nice local garage. Took the car in for a routine service was done in the day no problems. Parking is a bit tight but inevitable due to the location

I broke down today with my Mokka car with a completely flat battery outside Lloyds bank in Wellington.I rang South Street Motors and spoke to Andrew and Scott.Scott said that Andrew would come to my assistance which he did within in 15 minutesHe walked round with a jump start set which is quite heavyHe connected it to my battery and managed to start my car.In my opinion both Scott and Andrew were magnificent and it proves what fantastic service you get from SOUTH STREET MOTORSI Highly recommend them
