Cove Beach
Beautiful place on the coast with history and an amazing view. Parking is available at the top and you can walk down the coastal path. It's quite spectacular and special. Lots of history and I would recommend stopping for the view and a walk.

This is an incredible place to visit. Not obvious at first but walk down to the beach and it's so atmospheric. Very moving monument at the top commemorating a disaster at sea. Depicting mothers and children waiting for their fisherman husbands/fathers who never came home. Also very rare Victorian letterbox in the village of Cove. Well worth spending a couple of hours or more.

We visited here on the way on Scotland. Just a small diversion from the route. This is a beautiful place. Calming place. Starts from Cove beach view.

A very pleasant spot to take a break from your journey along the A1. I stopped in at Asda, just off the A1 a little further north, and ate my lunch at the Cove car park. It would be a good idea to use the main car park rather than the cut in opposite the houses on the route in. There are some tourist information boards and a monument at the edge of the road opposite the parking. There's easy access to the coastal path headed south. Well worth the deviation off the highway for such great views so close to the A1.

Picturesque harbour. Walk down to it or along the cliff top for excellent views. Looks different depending on the tides! Limited free parking access via long, single track road. Please be respectful of residence parking.

Peaceful and serene. The walk through the tunnel was an adventure on its own.

Cove Beach
Lovely hidden gem, crystal clear waters, stunning views extremely quiet when I visited.Small public carpark around half a mile from the harbour which is accessible via a cliff edge road and finally through a tunnel through the sea cliff.Honesty box at the start of the path £2.00 per person

Beautiful location, I reviewed the cove Harbour as well, kinda same review. This beach though is secluded and very clean. Great for a day trip, since parking is right up top and not far away at all.

Decided to visit on the spur of the moment. It was well worth it. Great views and memorial site of sailors that perished. Dog friendly as long as you pick up after them. The trail takes you down along the coast and onto the beach. Parking lot is good size and fee. There is an option to add donation.
